With Kaido's event, his *and* this Luffy's banner all ending on May 21st, that might be the date we're looking at for the next EX. Still, we'll see if they do another "Golden Week" event before then that gives us a different timeframe.

I think that the new ex will come out on may 20/21 because that’s when the kaido and luffy banners go away. But it could definitely be the 16/17 because that’s when the season ends.

They could make a runner that cap 16 treasure per game, but attacker bias is too strong in this game. People won't stop spamming mid unless the character can also play like an attacker.

Just in case any of you guys own the new luffy id highly advise running double rob lucci medals for him begin that his cooldowns are already really low. You basically have inf skill 2 use on top of your skill 1 teleport

@@TanC3NK cp9 it makes it where everytime you hit a crit it reduces cooldown by 3% I think so run too of them and I promise it helps a bunch. It’s also good on baby 5 and green wano luffy

That's because when they hear runner they only think of Roger and klaw, that cab one-shot anybody. The ones complaining are so used to toxic ex meta that they forgot what a runner is supposed to be, the same way they forgot what a defender is. They are the kind of player to use Roger, luffy g5, klaw as an attacker.

@Nightshadow3_7 the problem is not the new luffy, because this luffy is precisely what a runner should be, a unit that is supposed to run, not fight like klaw or Roger but run. Ex units are overpowered because the devs don't know how to balance their own games, those toxic meta also show they don't play their own game. The problem with ex units is not their broken skills but rather the fact they have so many of them that when stacked makes the unit a pain to deal with. Roger for example, what does he have, he has a ignore defenders traits, OK that's fine, oh but he also has a stun, well right there that makes it extremely hard to deal with, but there's more. On top of that he also had the best running speed in the entire game, plus he can one-shot most unit, and if all that wasn't enough when he uses his skills, he is invincible which means counters are useless against him. Now compare it to the new luffy what does he have?. Teleportation skill and that's it. No stun, no invincible skill, no ignore defenders. You think he is bad simply because you compare it to ex units which are completely broken. The problem with the game has always been ex units and it will always be because the devs make them overpowered because they have to sell the. Simple as that .

@Nightshadow3_7 that's the problem I have with the game. Ex units are so broken that if you don't use them, you will most likely lose. So the game forces you to abuse ex units if you want to progress. Which I hate because my main is shilliew. I love using him because he is not too broken it actually takes skill to win with him. With most ex units, you don't need skill. You can just spam normal attacks with ex zorro or spam counter with luffy g5, and you're good. Which is basically pay to win because the game isn't about how good you play but how good your character is. which, in my opinion, takes away all the fun because the games don't encourage us to play better. I've rarely seen a skilled zorro, even though there's always at least one in every match. On the contrary, most bounty fest units users are skilled. Basically, my point is that ex units require no skill, and the game rewards you for that.

@Nightshadow3_7 ask yourself this, why is there classes in the game (defender, attacker, runner) if some ex units can do all 3, example luffy g5, Roger, kaido. Also what is the use of classes if some units makes them obsolete, example Roger and klaw basically makes defenders obsolete, because the whole point of defenders is to stay on the treasure area so the runner can't capture it, they even have traits specifically to stay on flag. And here come Roger and klaw completely throwing the entire dynamic in the trash. I guess I just don't get why did the devs made those classes if it was to destroy their entire purpose later on.
