It is always good to see Kurt. He is this great presence in the ring, in whatever capacity. Always credible. TNA did a good job (for now) placing him in this role; it would be nice to back it up with a change back to the old TNA, letting Kurt drive the divisions, to promote 'wrestling action', a new wave of insight, perhaps? Again, that's only me.

Imagine if Kane joined TNA and he became the new boss? I guarantee that MVP and his little band of stooges wouldn't even show their faces. Or at least be afraid to set foot in the ring to speak face to face (and if they did, it would be the LAST mistake they ever made). Taking nothing away from Angle, he showed no fear, and he handled the situation beautifully.

I think people need to look at things in a different perspective, yes active wrestlers in a boss role tend to turn heel. But more often than not, wrestlers who become hall of famers have or are about to retire from the ring. Kurt has neck and knee problems. I think this role will suit him well, I think TNA will keep him in it and yes on occassions be may become physical with people. But I don't think we'll see Angle in the ring like we're used to

I fucking love authority figure storylines! They are *SOOOO* fresh, original and captivating! I adore the fact that professional fucking wrestling cannot seem to exist without an authority figure storyline operating at some level. Whether it's Vince McMahon, Vince Russo, Dixie Carter, John Lauranitius, Commissioner Foley, Eric Bischoff, The Coach, Palmer Cannon, Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero, Commissioner Michaels, Shane McMahon, Brad Maddox, Donald Trump, Ed Ferrara, MVP, Jack Tunney, Gorilla Monsoon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Linda McMahon, Paul Heyman or Kurt Angle, I FUCKING LOVE AUTHORITY FIGURES! The whole "Authority Figure" gimmick has been played to death in the last 15 years after Austin/McMahon, and TNA has been the worst offender of this, having run power struggle angles since pretty much the beginning of the promotion (Erik Watts Vs Dusty Rhodes Vs Don Callis anybody?)

I think that MVP is just jealous because he is was take over TNA b4 got into the mess of things now he is fired, removed, no more abuse of power. Now TNA is back to normal, sort of. Now all we have to do to make sure that Lashley is going to lose the World Title.

I'm guessing 5 or more weeks after his new role as DWO he turns heel since it happens very common with wrestlers who are scripted in the management role first they get into the crowds side and then they put themselves in world title matches but I sure hope Angle doesn't get booked like that
