Just don't lead with it expecting it to somehow "impress" a man. Men are to impress US, not the other way around! The chasing men part is something a lot of women in my generation(I’m 20) need to know. It works against us always. Even if you do get the man after chasing him he’s always gonna see you a certain way. Never do anything that’s gonna stroke a man’s ego in a way that makes you look like a fan or a groupie. Tell me why this guy at work told me that it seems like I would be the type to propose to a guy 😐. He told me that I seem like the type of woman to have several men on rotation. I told him that I would NEVER propose to a man. I really think he said this because he knows I've been in the military and I don't take crap from rude customers. So based off of that he made that assumption. He rarely works with me though. Everyone else describes me as a girly girly and I believe hes just intimidated by me. I also think it has a lot to do with some men believing all black women are the same especially if they only encountered masculine ones. I still can't believe he said that to me 🙃.

Not all dudes you interact with will be attracted to you or you attracted to them, and they can actually be a homie, best friend, or whatever you wanna call it. But i guess not everybody has experienced that. And you DEFINITELY dont have to change yourself and the way you talk or act if y'all are just friends, people should be themselves. If they want to change, great! Improvement is important but growth and change shouldn't be on the basis of just male attention, it should be because that is what you want to do for yourself.

I’m becoming a realtor so that it will force me to become even more feminine and social (I’m shy, so I need to courage to meet more people). It was really eye opening to see how many people were afraid of being left behind. And honestly the ones who are afraid of being left behind are the ones who know that I will permanently be unavailable to a mule or work horse for. Since finding this channel and Chrissie’s channel, I’ve been setting boundaries and I no longer stretch myself thin for anyone, including family members. I’ve also learned to move in silence because there are so many people that want to sabotage me so that I don’t move!!!!! But listen, come all hell and high water, I AM MOVING AWAY!!!!!

Thank you Chloe! I really needed to hear "stop expecting your friends to be happy for your glow up." I've been on a glow up journey for the past few years (major weight loss, career level up, and most recently femininity). Upon reflection, I'm realizing I've been learning this lesson the hard way. I used to always be the sad fat friend who thought she was ugly and I was ALWAYS available to carry the emotional burdens of others and over the last 3 years I've really set some boundaries with my friends as I've transformed, and although they've been "supportive" I've never really just felt like they were behind me 100%. I recently told some close friends about wanting to be more feminine and they scoffed at me and told me I was feminine enough, the same way when I told them years ago that I wanted to lose weight they would tell me I was beautiful just the way I was (I was almost 300 pounds and dealing with weight related health issues at the time), and then they would invite me to eat terrible or order in pizza. Throughout, my weight loss they have ALWAYS been the ones encouraging me to treat myself with food and telling me "one meal won't hurt." I've lost a great deal, but I have had set backs and oftentimes they were part of me making a decision to eat poorly. I don't think they were maliciously sabotaging me, but I do think subconsciously they were, mostly because they didn't want things to change. They have admitted it's been hard for them to watch my body and my mind change and i'm really not angry with them, because honestly they're not terrible people. They're just human and I changed the structure of our relationship when I decided to change. Plus, this entire experience has really taught me the power of "No" and for that I'm grateful, but I can see now that my next level up can happen quicker if I just cut out all of the noise and draw some more boundaries with my friends! Mind your full business in 2020 ladies!

Great video. Another thing to leave behind is anyone that you have to chase to convince of your worth, that goes for friends, family and love interest. Also, get off social media with your plans and learn to just shut up. Lets also abandon negative self talk/talk in general and self-limiting beliefs. Happy 2020 ladies, I see a great upcoming year full of positive change and opportunities for black women.

Please know that there is a difference between a man who does not actively look for a woman's accomplishments ( like women do to men) and those who are turned off or scared by them. There is a difference, and knowing that will save you a world of hurt. Never diminish your shine. Anyone asking you to do so does not love nor respect you. Men who are looking for women to be less or have less than them will actively ask you what you do, how many degrees you have, your salary, and other indicators of such success. A man that really doesn't care won't ask. If and when it comes up eventually he will be proud of you for your accomplishments and logistically understand that you probably have positive qualities that led to such success like intelligence, discipline, and discretion ( all positive healthy traits that everyone should have). A true protector and provider does not see competition in everything, only dusties. Your ability to be wealthy has nothing to do with his ability to be wealthy, he will provide for you regardless because that is what a provider does.

OMG! Where have you been all my life? I am 52 and I KNOW I am a high value female. But I haven't been vetting men correctly. Especially after the baggage of having my husband leave me for another woman 10 years ago. I am watching all your videos and learning a lot. I KNOW my Mr. Right is out there. Your videos are inspirational and motivating. Thank you!

If you decide to ever get back with an ex, make sure his life is in order and he proves the change with evidence. You don't have to go back to an ex because the pickings are slim. Waiting is so hard, but being with a broke dusty from the past is even worst. Thank you for your channel. It helps me to know I've grown so much. Make the change from being stupid to understanding your worth is amazing. It's lonely to start. But I rather be lonely sometimes than to be broken and lonely with someone. So womanly is me!!!

I totally agree with everything you’ve have said. Also ladies in 2020 please for the love of Christ please stop using the cell phone on speaker to have full-blown conversation in public, it’s rude and low class😡😡

Also please STOP calling traditional feminine women who actually want husbands and NOT baby daddies “pick mes.” Y’all got the ish twisted. Y’all are so used to being pick-mes for simps, betas, & dusties, that when a woman talks about doing wife things for a husband, it confuses you. Just stop it.

It’s really sad how our mothers and grandmothers were programmed my mother just said to my little daughter as a joke to hurry up, grow up and work and I said get a man a man is a provider who should give you things don’t put that on my daughter, and she got so upset it triggered something in her she even threatened me to never say it again! Like black woman have been thru it and it saddens me and I’m just thankful for this community is here for us to discuss this very real issue! If it wasn’t for this channel I wouldn’t be aware of this and would have went along with the same program! But with these videos relationships have made more sense and become easier!
