Xbox needs this win. PS has Spiderman, a lot of Marvel projects coming, Uncharted, Last of Us, God of War. Been an Xbox fan since the OG and I'm so excited for this. I wish Sony would help end the exclusivity for any game and bring their properties to us Xbox guys

I hope this game does well. Indy as a brand has had it rough for awhile and a particularly disastrous 5th film didn’t give the shot in the arm he needed. I think he could have a long healthy life in the world of gaming.

There’s no way to say this without it sounding weird to someone on the internet… but Indiana Jones is never (and should never be) just defined as: “the guy that kills/punches nahzees” (I intentionally spelled it wrong because you can’t trust KZfaq’s censor algorithm). Looking at Indiana Jones in that one singular light limits the character, as he’s fought dozens of other factions in his time… rival archeologists, traitorous tour guides, Arabic mercenaries, Chinese mobsters, cultists that live in an underground cave, a brotherhood of protective descendants, Nazca Warriors, a Russian military, and many others that I might have missed. I’m not saying he shouldn’t face the blond Germans, but assigning him the description of “an archeologist who punched fascist Germans” really hollows out his potential, and takes away from his archeology… making him a generic hero who only works to prevent the Germans from winning the Second World War. It takes away the fact that he’s just an archeologist who protects and attempts preserving precious artifacts from those who plan to either sell them, or use the artifacts for their own personal gain. Yes the plot of him preventing the Germans from exploiting it works extremely well… but I wish they’d explore other adversaries as well, since it would open up more room for interesting villains/rivals for Indy to face (rather than the same old world domination nahzees).

Will be interesting to see if Bethesda likes money - by releasing it to PS5 eventually - or does not like money by not releasing it to PS5.

3rd person is nice because we can see what he will look like in action like it's a movie but you're controlling him. The only time 1st pov is good is for the guns/driving/flying or if someone is into it more then 3rd or both like me.

One small thing, this is set between Raiders and the Last Crusade, only after the Last Crusade tank chase, did he start to wear the bag outside of the jacket, but every shot in the trailer with the bag, it's over the jacket, I know it's very niggly, but it's one thing I don't get, how research would would lead you to not knowing this, still won't put me off playing though, that's my 2 cents ✌️❤️

They need to work on the names for modern Indiana Jones entries. Like we went from "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Temple of Doom", "The Last Crusade", and "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". To "Dial of Destiny" and "The Great Circle". "Dial of Destiny" is still passable (barely, only because "Temple of Doom" isn't much more inspired) but what's next? "Indiana Jones and the Important Thing"? "Indiana Jones and the McGuffin"? I get that the Great Circle is a concept in archeology, but like c'mon, be creative! "Raiders of the lost Ark" wasn't called "Indiana Jones and the shiny box that can telephone God".

Was never that much of a fan of what MG did with Wolfenstein. I really hope this is good, one thing that concerns me about it being first person though is that they'll force an absurdly FOV upon the player as has been the trend more and more in recent games.

Honestly Gears of War Eday is what's bringing me back to Xbox. And the thought of what is available on Xbox that PlayStation doesn't have excites me. I haven't had an Xbox since 2015 so I'm excited to return. I love my ps5 but it just seems like there isint much to play. And if I'm already replaying old games. Then why not go back and relive the 360 years with Gears of war trilogy and halo again? Definitely excited to play Indiana Jones and Gears of war Eday.

I’m an Xbox player and just looking back at the previous titles like Emperor’s Tomb and Staff of Kings, it’s very dumb not to bring it to other console’s and platforms. I hate the first person view because I’m so used to a third person view of previous titles. ESPECIALLY Emperor’s Tomb. I think it’ll be an amazing game though. Just hope they add a third person option. If not, then why didn’t they make this a VR exclusive?🤣

PlayStation has so many exclusive games, it’s great that Xbox can have one every once in a while. I’d prefer that they just not do exclusives and let everyone play the games on whatever console they have.

Yeah after how bad wolfenstien got with 2 and the games that followed, I wouldnt be that excited about this, also the animations with the whip look really really off, like you can tell its really unfinished tech demo type stuff, also if this is taking place in 1937, why is the mighty Bismarck, ontop of a god damn mountain? she was just under construction at the time, like I get they always kinda pushed the envelope with that, like with that flying wing gotha they had in raiders that was a modified US design made after the war based on the gotha 229 V3 they found over there, that was actually made by Grumman but the mighty B being ontop of a mountain and damaged when she was just constructed that's abit much

For those that complain about the 1st person view, as long as the comes out on PC, the modding community will fix that.

PlayStation has exclusives all the time and we just have to get used to it; I’m sure in a year or two they’ll move it over to PlayStation, but regardless most gamers are PC anyways
