So, I see a lot of people talking about how disappointed they are. I cancelled Boxy & Ipsy 1 1/2 yrs ago. Simply because I had too much stuff to realistically use. I re subscribed last month for short term....no FOMO for me this time. I am looking for specific items and maybe a surprise new favorite without paying department store prices. I always rated my stars on how many products I would use/like. I, always was 3-4 stars which made it worth the cost. (price much higher now) SOOO...the point: From the spoilers, my curated 5 included 2 items on my "Hope For". 2 items on "I can use it", 1 item..."no, not really". Nothing from the "NOOOO, Please God NO". But, my choice sections did include more of what I was hoping for. I wanted the Keys Soul Care....it was in Choice 2. I immediately selected it. The Fenty toner and Know clay mask was sitting in Choice 1. I selected the Fenty but what was on the hedge about which one I wanted to receive. Choice 3 was not exciting but, I selected the Toy Factory loose powder because I can always use it and won't be unhappy. However, life happens and I am taking care of my end-stage cancer/hospice husband. I wanted to know a little more about the mask and toner so, I read a few reviews, watched a couple of video reviews (3). Had the hospice nurse in, and answered a phone call from my mother, a text from son. I then sat down to make my final selection. I had decided on the KNOW clay mask. When I opened it, Choice 1 and Choice 2 had been removed from my choices. GONE...no longer available. Thank goodness the clay mask was still there since I had decided to go with that. But, the KEYS Soul Care the one item I really wanted was gone. Only things in the Choice 2 box left was stuff I either done need or can't use. I went with TF blush. I rarely use blush. Gave a big sigh and told myself, Life happens...they ran out. Then I tapped "confirm" and my blood started boiling. They were NOT OUT of PRODUCT. I could now pay more for what I have already paid for. (I paid for Ipsy 15, Icon 60, Beauty Boost 15. Add tax to that and you come up just under $100. Their advertising states that for those prices I would get curated products and a CHOICE of 3 items and gave sneak peeks at what items would be up for grabs. I then looked back at what time I woke up and opened the app...documented by Galaxy watch sleep app, What time I received the call and how long I was on it, same for the text message, what time I documented I gave pain meds...nurse arrived just after and was here 20min. Don't forget the reviews. All of this was 2 hours and 15min. They took my Choice away in that amount of time. I highly doubt I revisit this scam next month. I will choose after I see how old the product in my boxes are. I am writing this on all influencer's sites because I don't think the review space will allow this much text. No harm intended for your social media platform and I may change my mind once I see what kind product Toy Factory is. (I do really like Dew of the Gods). OH! and super happy with both Ipsy bags I have gotten this time...never was that happy with them before! This was on Aug 2, 1st day of Choice and I am in CST zone

The Icon box replaces boxycharms luxe box. Ive always received the luxe box and now get that one.

I've noticed a bit of a difference in the ipsy glam bag and better add-on options. Edit: my hairdresser suggested I get Moroccanoil Protect and Prevent spray for my 10 day trip in the hot sun. We were out sun-up to sundown and my hair held up well. It's silver and broke to burning (yellowing) and it stayed silvery!

I really wanted the Glow Recipe moisturizer. I have only seen people get it in PR packages. Anyone get it as a choice? My April and May boxes were both trash, no personalization based on my profile/preferences and past reviews. So disappointing since it took a long time to get my GBP boxes curated well and I'd been loving them but this ipsy/boxy merger seems to have really screwed things up. I can only hope it gets better.
