I just purchased the Janome 9450 five days ago.and still leaning the basics. The stitch quality is just beautiful. This my second Janome and so far completely satisfied. Huge learning curve to challenge me on the 9450 but taking my time and getting there. Quilting is my sewing passion these days.

I"m drooling over this machine lol - what an awesome looking machine. BTW the black bracket that is still in the box is to hook the foot control and the thread cutting pedal together.

Really nice demo. This machine is gorgeous. Tomorrow I am going to look at this one and the brother 2400 or 3050. Time is money so need these nice time saving features plus durability is a must. I sew professionally for clients so can't be running it into the shop all the time for this and that. If it can be sewn I do it 5-7 days a week about 3-4 hours of actually sewing a day. All kind of fabrics lightest chiffon to heavy jeans home dec fabrics, leather. Projects from custom garments, home dec, wedding gowns, quilts, repairs and alterations. I have a Brother Innovis i love. It sews everything beautifully but but it has been in the shop for this and that and now the motherboard died. So now trying to decide between Janome or Brother. One thing I see off the bat is the threader- not always consistent, a bit more cumbersome than Brother where it is only three steps and push a button it does the rest and never fails. I love that time saver.

I bought a Janome memory craft 9500 many years ago probably around 2008 or 2009. I’m 72 so quite senior and finally I’ve decided to open the box and try to use it I think I’ve been afraid of it ever since I bought it. Is there a list of accessories that would be useful that did not come with my model in that year? Is there someplace where I can find that information? I used to sew all sorts of things of things from wedding dresses To baby clothes to my own clothes. I haven’t made anything at all in over 10 years and I wonder if I can still remember how to do that. Coming off of the Covid isolation, the idea of bringing the sewing machine in dusting it off and trying it out, hoping to get some sort of positive result, it’s quite exciting to me right now. Thank you for your video it has been very helpful any ideas or links or accessories that you can recommend would be greatly appreciated. Especially now that my son has asked for Christmas list; and accessories and supplies for my machine would be quite a good idea I think. I don’t even know what kind of thread to buy these days. Even if you could advise me on that it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who can help this old lady get back her stitches.🍀

I really enjoyed the unboxing and seeing the competition. I’m a Bernina girl and see no reason to switch to Janome! Little too much plastic and the Bernina feet are incomparable! Just my opinion.

Lucy, why all the chatter? Suggest you set the box on a table and unpack, or just have it unpacked. We cannot see what you are doing during this phase anyway. Try saying what the part is and show it. You dont need to keep saying what you are GOING to do, Just DO it. Potential customers are going to wonder if you are so disorganized in your business as well. It may help to do some notes about what you are going to say, and/or do a little practice on public speaking. Good luck.
