I don't think you get the issue people had. We liked the game it's just that we'd much rather play kaiju we like. Would you rather play as godzilla, a kaiju you have an attachment to or *insert big dinosaur monster here*

i think the happiest thing about the new update for me is that they changed cleric's running animation back, the new one looked like a monkey running and its a good thing they now changed it back to the old one. im also excited for the destoroyah reskin since i maxed it, it will probably come a lot later due to its requirements but im still waiting patiently

This game is *not* ready to release. The devs were too eager to release it so quickly after the shutdown, and this lead to many things breaking. All of our max kaijus have gone to waste, people's skill points have all been removed and many have forgotten their set, and most of the kaijus don't even make sound. All of the attack buttons look the same, which can confuse a lot of people, including me, who use different images to memorize each attack. Like how Ultima had his tail swing attack and stomp, and the pictures were different. Now, every attack's image set is the same for every kaiju. Very confusing. And again, every kaiju that's released is either extremely broken (animation's not working) or they don't even have roars. Some kaijus are completely mute, not even making walk sounds. And every new kaiju that's a replacement of the old one just uses their old animations and everything. Even if a kaiju does have a roar, their old animation does not fit their new sound. They should have redone the animations slightly to make these new "kaijus" seem fresh, not "oh let's slap a new model on these old animations and hope it works fine." In my opinion, they should not have released this game so early after it got shut down. I know the dev team is working, well "working" on the game, but there are just way too many things that need to be addressed.

I played Kaiju Universe for one reason. To simply play as my favorite kaiju from the films with my friends. Not dumb ripoffs of the originals.

At this point the main reasons that kaiju universe isn't below 1k players is A) Kaiju universe is well known, And B) We know that the reskins are meant to be specific Kaijus i.e "Malacive" being Showa Gigan and "Ablecross" being Megalon. Which sucks because I really do like the game. Edit: Spelling

KU promised us to add more kaijus and godzilla in the game, until toho ruined they're plan, Now The other players really wanted they're other kaiju back in the game and i really hope that if KU Finally got the licenses to make us happy to they're game... In my opinion... I won't play KU anymore... its because i work soo hard getting does other kaijus in the game soo i will wait until they get the license if not then soo be it...

The problem is we have no big tier kaijus other than rodan and cleric muto all we have is mid small bugs

The biggest reason i played it was because i loved playing my favorite Godzilla characters. Now that they are gone it feels weird. Whenever i try to play it, i can't get myself to play longer for 10 minutes. I was in denial when it got taken down 😅 Like, this was my favorite game... now things just... don't feel right. Like watching a animatronic of michael Jackson. I see who it is. I know who it wants to be. But i know it will never be, what it tries to be.

I js don’t like the balance part of it. The majority of the roster are early game Kaiju. There are around 2 or 3 Kaiju that are actually mid-end game, and I personally hate playing as all of them. The issue with this is that these higher-end Kaiju are easily accessible, so it’s impossible to have any fun because A: none of the Kaiju fit my playstyle, and B: pretty much every Kaiju in the game gets beat by 2-3 Kaiju that are way too easy to get. Like what was said in the video, this will be solved with time, but this seems like it might take a while.

I grinded so much for maxed out godzillas and now they tell me its just gone:( I spent 300+ hours on this game:(

Bruh of course the models play an important role. If a hello kitty game suddenly added gore it still changes it by a ton despite only being a visual change.

It really is a pretty big deal a lot of people have abandoned the game like my friend and move on to different game genres on roblox or just quit roblox straight up.

Honestly, the fun of the kaiju universe was playing with the original kaijus, the pvp itself is cool but it's not the same anymore, it totally lost its essence

i like both the battle and kaiju even though i always get jumped

I like the game, it just feels weird not being able to play as the kaiju i like...its like, you get attached to them and then youre suddenly forced to play as some random ass custom kaiju. Kaiju Arisen got taken down by toho a while back, and all they did was change the names and it never happened again. Thats why i play arisen more, i like playing decent (debateable) pvp with the kaiju i have come to know and love
