They actually nailed this scene! The way Hao's head and body fall off after Yoh beheads him is way more unsettling than I expected. Not to mention that new remix of Hao's theme. It's simply chilling 😍

I like how Ren took the longest to actually die. Dude was a beast through the entire series, they nailed him so well.

Dang.. the way Hao took out the souls out of everyone scared me, especially with the chanting OST. Even, Goldva went insane and Yoh lost hope for a moment for the second time. The fact Yoh got angry and cut Hao’s head off showed how truly out of control Hao went

This scene is one of my favs. Opacho's reaction is on point: Hao, maybe for the first time since we met him, is no longer himself. His body and image are only a gateway for other souls to get through. His flesh, like his mind throughout his lives, absorbs so much of everyone else that it's no longer his. Despite this, there's longing in the way he extends his hand towards his twin and adopted child. There's still a little bit of Hao in that animated corps. The beheading is swift. Yoh, like Hao, has no doubt, no hesitation, though he's in pain. I love it. Also, the King starting mankind's extinction with killing shamans gives a whole new spin on his Shaman Kingdom plan. Maybe he figured out that what he wanted was heaven all along, a place without harm and hardship, where his soul can rest. But he doesn't want to be alone there, too.

That's why i really love Hao, he's very a villian in a totally wrong telled story, because he had his reasons and i completely understand it, humans only care about money and themselves, This is just a masterpiece ❤

Just recently finished this series. When you are used to watching One Piece adapt maybe 2 -3 panels per episode and then this one speed runs the entire Heroes vs Patch arc. It's absolutely insane

So, I watched the part that I needed and I'm convinced. Hao didn't destroy humanity on this point of time. Because when Yoh asks him: "So, what are going to do now? " Hao answers: "Of course, I will destroy disgusting humans. " That's probably why they cut out manga panel where Earth was literally annihilated.

When you make Shaman King 2021 videos, I have a more certain enjoyment of scenes from that anime. It wasn't perfect, but I did watch it the right way: as an extension of 2001 that fulfilled a canon ending. So seeing you make these videos is awesome.
