I live really close to the new madrid fault, i am actually located in Arkansas, and we've been feeling tiny earthquakes here, where im at, and we also feel earthquakes from Oklahoma due to fracking. So we are most likely screwed. Because the new madrid fault, is not dead. There is something going on there, and Oklahomas fracking up oil isn't helping matters as well.

Alie Wood Not to mention the magma chamber that the land collapsed on top of during the last Big New Madrid Earthquake. Had that land not collapsed on top of that magma chamber, Volcanoes would had formed all up and down those areas, making majority of the east coast a waste land. The next New Madrid Earthquake, will be followed by volcanic activity. Good luck to y’all out there. I have the same worries out here on the west coast. I live in Ridgecrest Ca, and since the 6.4 and 7.1 hit out here, there’s an even greater chance of the Garlock fault rupturing near me and causing an even greater magnitude quake, followed by possibly setting the San Andreas fault off. And Little Rock fault line rapturing, along with other fault lines that surrounds Ridgecrest and causing volcanic activity to occur also. Peace and Light . It’s a ticking time bomb

That quake over 150 years ago, didn't split the country in half, as powerful as they were. So, what happened?
