I don't know how it is possible but they make you feel as they make me feel. No matter how strange that may sound but this music is so utterly terryfing, it annihilates you down to the last cell in your body so bad that in the end it has the exact opposite effect, it becomes CATHARTIC! wonderful

This song is absolutely killer! It's almost like a time warp. It starts, then it's over before you know it. Just a wall of beautiful metal. I also highly, highly recommend "Flight of the Fireflies" by Orbit Culture. Sweden is at the forefront of metal. No doubt about it.

Definitely the best production Meshuggah has ever had, and that's saying something after Violent Sleep of Reason set a new bar back in its day! If you like the sort of "haunted house" vibe this song tends to give off, I would recommend Catch 33 above anything else they've done. Even if you don't do a reaction to the whole 47 minutes of it, just turn out the lights, throw on some headphones and get lost in it. No other piece of music out there that I've heard really captures the pure eldritch horror and insanity that Catch 33 does, and I just love it.

This song seems like a metamorphosis... crazy in the beginning, absolute chaos in the middle/solo, then into badassness. As a musician, the timing of everything simply blows me away. These guys are geniuses.

One of the other things that I notice about these guys the more I listen to them is that their entire catalog you start to notice that it’s kind of a game where every member of the band has to know the cues of where to hit the notes and they all have to be synchronized the entire band Meshuggah and their catalog is all built on a game of cues and knowing where to hit the drums where to take the bass guitar and when to start singing and knowing exactly where each component comes into play with all of their songs

I remember back when I didn't like metal. Sabbath and maiden we the heaviest I went. Then I heard hangar 18. That started my path. Just didn't get into death metal Until I heard the symbolic album by death. 😱 what a fuck'n master piece. To this day I still play it back to back

This is the music I use to do house chores. I hate house chores with a passion! But this music makes it bearable. I don’t recommend hard head banging when washing, drying, or putting away glass dishes 😆. Also, any pizza without pineapple on it!!!!

This song is fucking amazing. At release it has rocketed to the top 3 of my Meshaggah favorites list along with Future Breed Machine and Qualms if Reality. I saw them once live open for Tool at UMASS Amherst around 20 years ago (son was a student at UMASS at the time). The auditorium was half full and filling up while Meshuggah played. They were awesome, but honestly the crowd who was there mostly for Tool had no idea how to react. As a metalhead that was quite an experience 😅. Great reaction to an awesome song.

Been listening to this kind of music for decades, starting in 97 with Slipknot. Many moons later im married with kids. When i listen to this loud in the evening, it puts my kids to sleep (like age 2 to 8). The rhythmic mathematical cadence is like counting sheep. The irony here Alex, he's singing about pandora's box, that you can never go back. You won't either, once you find comfort in this, you can't settle for anything less.

they are the master of their kind,their creation,playing with rythm,tone and notes,its like the learning perfectly the parts of the song and then execute like dark assasins.really pro stuff.I like them cause the meters are different have diferent tones and diferent line everytime.Not always ussually they do their circle and comes again to the same but you cant understand this if you just hearing the songs of meshuggah,you need to study them otherwise its like you always going a journey with their music cause you cant understand wtf they are doing so much but its awesome,its weird but kinda they make youi forget your problems
