The Minecraft Cave Dweller Mod has been taking off and I have only just now learned about it. This is easily one of the most scary minecraft mods ever, adding a brand new entity to the game known as the dweller. Today we dive into a minecraft java dweller mod but there are dwellers for minecraft bedrock too. This is the better cave dweller, in all of it's terrifying glory..

I love the idea of a cave mob that only spawns if you are in complete darkness for too long, with the cave sounds becoming more frequent and intense the longer you explore in the dark. Maybe not something quite as powerful as the idea of the Cave Dweller, but something like a 1 block tall version of it that can chase you through all the small spaces in caves with glowing red eyes. Imo it would be afraid of light though, so putting down a torch would chase it away so its a bit more balanced, but it still punishes players for mining without enough light.

That would be awesome! Unfortunately, mods don't really work that way. Now, if it were a data pack, like From the Fog, the server owner could add it secretly like you suggest.

I’ll be honest. When I was younger, I would play Minecraft PE on a tablet. I kept on hearing cave noises and at that point I had recently learned about Herobrine and I thought the noises were him. As I heard them more I thought he infected every world and I was having nightmares. It got so bad that I quit and uninstalled the game. Keep in mind though, I was MAXIMUM 8 so I was pretty stupid. I only came back to the game after a few years when the Nether Update released. I look back and laugh to this day.

Hi Wattles! I’m fairly new to Minecraft & play it on my console. Normally I play it with my friend whose on PC. One thing I’m confused about is how do the seeds work & do they differ on PC to what you would get on console etc?

Well, from 1.20 onwards, the Seeds are pretty much the same other than Structure Spawning, which is usually the only big difference, hope this Helps 😅

@@wattlesplays genuinely wish I could give you a list of horror mods that could fit Minecraft’s style, apparently lanky humanoid creatures that stalk andkill you are the only things on the table. I do know one mod called From The Fog that adds a very good herobrine to the game that messes with you, in my opinion it’s the scariest thing we have so far, we need more stuff like it.

Cave sounds are actually people trying to wake you up its alrdy been confirmed because at the end of the game whem you defeat the dragon when you read some of it you will find a word that says "you are in a deep sleep wake up" i think? I no remember :(
