That's what a turbo can do for ya, however pushing that i4 past 380 hp will make your engine hell unreliable and will most likely ecoboom, the eco is not a car you want to mod that much if you want to keep the reliability and the great mpg.

I know, tech has come along way. My Mercedes has a 1.3 Turbo mild hybrid in ot that they share with Renault and Nissan and it makes more power per liter than a Ferrari F430 yet it's just a normal car.

If I’m not mistaken, I think the GT350 is discontinued. That spot has been taken by the Dark Horse. Basically like how the Mach 1 replaced the GT350 in the S550 generation. The Dark Horse is the Mach 1 equivalent for the S650 gen. As for the GT500, I’m sure they’ll be one

The eco is the best one between the eco and GT, dark horse has handling package which makes the car overall better than the GT and eco but the eco is still the best one for the bucks, why? Well you have the mustang platform, you get around 25 mpg combined and you get an engine doing 315 hp stock and you can easily push it to make 350 hp and still keep the car reliable and getting that great mpg

The GTD is a feat of engineering for ford, it has the transmission on the axel for 50/50 weight distribution and insane suspension, they are supposedly going for some sort of record at the Nürburgring

The performance plus package on the eco boosts have 340-370hp depending on the year and trim. Not to mention it is likely one of the most reliable I-4 engines ever produced. I have 153k on my 2017 performance plus with an after market fujitsbu 38mm twin scroll turbocharger, a down pipe and a remap and it doesn’t even have an oil leak. I’m genuinely surprised at how good of a car it is….. other than the front end suspension components 🫠

@massimohack4747 definitely not slow only .2 sec slower then a non dark horse mustang gt & no gti is smoking the 24 ecoboost would need a golf r unless it's the 2016 ecoboost when the gti can barely keep up with the type r it's 0-60 is 5.3-6 in gti vs the 4--4.7 in golf r

Damn 316 HP from a Turbo i4 is actually pretty good. The Subaru WRX for comparison has a 2.5 Turbo Boxer flat 4 and only makes 271 HP. Although, i would still probably take the Subbie over the Mustang. Just personal preference

They haven’t removed the Shelby name from the Mustang lineup. It will just come later on in the future as with all the previous models, they’re still hope although I’m not too sure if they’re bringing the GT350 back most likely the GT500👍🏽👍🏽

You can also purchase the Dark Horse Supercharger kit for the GT that adds 400 extra horsepower giving you a total of 810hp for an extra 10 grand.

I have only only owned mustangs in my life I had a an ‘04 v6, then swapped to an ‘04 GT, then moved up to a ‘14 GT, the. Finally settled on my ‘16 GT, and I never had any problem except a fuel pump go out on the ‘04 v6. Mustangs are very reliable and I will forever be a mustang fan

I bought a new 1978 Chevy Z-28, I think it had around 175 HP. It was a chocked down dog. I never thought I'd see the 60's-70's HP hey day's blown away. Incredible HP in today's car's. 800 HP? Unbelievable!

Bought my 5.0 mustang and put a whipple on it and lowered the car with sticky tires and can honestly say it’s as much fun to drive as my 980HP Porsche turbo S. Much slower but in the turns on back roads the mustangs handles so well even with more power. It rockets out the corners. I have a friend who placed an order for the GTD carbon series in the matte purple with black racing stripes I’d love to see how that competes with my turbo s.
