One of the best escooters of 2021 just got even better! The NAMI BURN-E, also known as the Viper, disrupted the electric scooter industry by innovating on design and power.
The NAMI BURN-E 2 MAX took an already amazing scooter with sine wave controllers and adjustable suspension, and improved on the drawbacks from the original design.
Improvements from the original NAMI BURN-E include:
Logan 4-piston hydraulic brakes
Wider 27 inch handlebars
5 amp fast charger
Improved turn signal indicators
Improved charging ports
Waterproof motor connectors for easier serviceability

@vripiatbuzoi9188
@vripiatbuzoi9188 2 жыл бұрын
It's not even close to perfect. It's got some controller issues, specifically phantom e-braking and acceleration delay which need to be fixed. Brake brackets don't align well so pads clamp off the rotor so you need custom made adapters to fix. Other than that it's the best you can get now which is not saying much for this immature sport.

The issue is that many people replace their (second) car with these things, so people are willing to pay. I'm interested in a higher end e-scooter specifically to stop paying for insurance and gas on my car. Probably will be going with Apollo since they have 24 month warranties.

just got mine today. Charging now. Can't wait to ride! EDIT: Took it out for a few brief rides on some warm weather days here in Michigan. I have to concur with what people are saying about the display in it being difficult to see in sunlight even at max brightness. The thumb throttle is a bit weird but I just set the speed limit for each level and go wide open on throttle on whatever level I have it on depending on the situation. I need to figure out how to move the turn signal interface to the other side because there's no way to get to those buttons while staying on the throttle and having access to the brake lever. I like how this doesn't jump on you once you hit the throttle and sort of eases into it. The power is there if you want it but it doesn't handle like a dragster. I'll be using this for gig work once the weather gets a bit warmer. Gotta beat these gas prices.

@The Specialist ⚓🌍 Sure, it's great for joyriding. Though, if I could do it all over again I would actually have gone with the Wolf King GT PRO. Performance-wise they're essentially the same but you pay around $1500 more for the NAMI due to the fully adjustable suspension which I don't really need and the Wolf has a better headlight setup.

yea, its kind of impractical really, a 50 mile range and 7-8 charging time makes it pretty well useless for doing commuting of any kind or as a means or transportation, kind of just a novelty with that tiny range, you could drain the battery completely in 40-45 minutes at top speed and then its 7-8 hours wait, i mean even if your just messing around your not likely to get more than 2-3 hours max, so your are getting like 20%-30% usage time to charging time
@-joo3033
@-joo3033 Жыл бұрын
@@King_Flippy_Nips huh, blasting at full throttle at around 60mph would be stupid on a stand up scooter, its great for replacing public transporter wich is slower (even if i go 15mph) and doesnt go at night when i would need it most often, i could charge it from 0% to 100% In around an hour with my 3kw charger (i have a 40AH battery) ...also makes for a nice alternative to the 10K€ Ebike im building...bet you have never tried a "fast" scooter.

@@AkronKid330 God told me there is a lot of distress going on with this scooter specifically the Burn-E 2 Max on the configuration parts. They come in either Samsung 50E (21700), LG M50T (21700), or Panasonic NCR18650BE (18650). There are multiple serious problems. The LG M50T battery drops power significantly when the weather temperature falls below or rise above very specific temperature range. The optimal range of temperature is very small, so a lot of the times your scooter will not go as fast you expect. You will notice significant power drop. Panasonic battery has even more serious problem cause they are 3200 mAh batteries. Not only is this battery underpowered but the capacity is only 25 Ah not 32 Ah as advertised. And they don't give you option to choose which batteries to go with when you order. So you don't know which batteries you are getting it's a hit or miss. Samsung 50E and LG-M50T will give you 35 Ah on this scooter. Performance dependability wise both the LG and Panasonic are problematic. You would expect a lot of performance considering how much you pay for this scooter but I hate to say it won't meet performance demand..🙁

@@AkronKid330 God told me you gonna buy this scooter. And later down the road he will have performance issues with it, not going fast as he expect...can't even meet minimal expectations and will complain to the seller and endup returning the scooter.🙁 God told me you will exchange the scooter for another Burn-E 2 Max and will get better performance, but will run into serious reliability problem (both the battery and motors). And he says you will ship the scooter (at your cost) to the seller to service it. They will find the battery gone bad, and replace it. Send the scooter back to you for you to enjoy...then shortly after both of your motors will fail.. You won't know if it's the motors failed or the controller but you will get upset and will attempt to return the scooter to the seller for a refund, but they won't accept it. I am sorry for being so pessimistic but this is what God told me to tell you. There is gonna be a lot of trouble with the scooter..🙁

So it felt like you were getting the newer version (even tho smaller battery and motors) but the range you can get on it is crazy! I think I can get 120km on one full charge. Doing an average of 25-30km but I was getting more than a friend who was on the original Nami. The only thing is obviously the smaller motors will only get up to a max of 72-74kmph but that's perfect for me personally. And it never missed a beat.

slow rebound makes the scooter stable not stiff at high speeds. a stiff scooter hitting a bump at 60mph would ruin your day. high rebound makes the scooter stiff and i'd argue you wouldn't want it too high off road either because it then becomes bouncy. thats the way mountain bike suspension works. but otherwise great video. very informative. good to see some PEV enthusiasts doing good work

I see boxes coming down the belt and I’m amazed it’s possible to be busted like that, like an elephant sat on the 53 foot transport trailer.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but would you need a motorcycle license and or insurance going 60mph on any street? Watching you pass a few cars between lanes I can imagine what people in the cars thought seeing a guy standing up on a scooter just flying passed them! Also the handlebars seemed extremely high, but I'm only 5'5" so probably fine for taller people.

I like the Thunder design and bigger battery and longer range but Ive been hearing that the Nami is better cause comes with steering dampener / sinewave controller / better suspension / better display / comes with headlight

@@RA-tu3on I ended up ordering a GT2 on launch day. It was $800 off (so right around 3G) I was comfortable with that.
