I LOVE our old/ new Nigerian National Anthem. ("Nigeria we Hail thee!") I sang it in the 1960s and 1970s. I was not happy when it was changed. So I am glad it has been brought back. I can see a lot of this audience is young so they are used to the former one, so may not know the fantastic and glorious "Nigeria we hail thee!"

Clearly, you did not understand the lyrics. It says that God should HELP (emphasis on help) us to build a nation where no man is oppressed. It did not say that Nigeria is a nation where no man is oppressed.

Fixing the country from the corrupt and wicked people or changing the national item? What about the minimum wage the poor get while the politicians get millions for doing nothing? God have blessed Nigeria with all the resources , God helped us build a nation with all the resources,nice, caring , kind hearted people but what did our corrupt government did to its citizens and the country? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Taking care of its citizens is more important than the new item. Just my opinion.

They sang the song first time in AWC Nigeria vs South Africa it end up 1-1 draw, and second time of singing the same National Anthem Nigeria where beating 2-1 by calm neighboring country Benin Republic, not noising neighbors😂😂😂 by March 19 2025 if u repeat the same Anthem against Rwanda, Rwanda will win by 3-1 and the dreams of qualifying to World cup will be end😏😏😏
