as a car lover would love to buy a fleet of 3 brand new ROSENBAUER Panther NXT 6X6 + 5.5 in. Lift 13.2 TDI I6 4-Dr ARFF (RHD) as a collector's item . . . besides this is something that's really worth collecting regardless . . . the 13.2 TDI I6 has to retuned to run on low quality fuel . . . both chassis frame & body of the ROSENBAUER Panther NXT 6X6 + 5.5 in. Lift 13.2 TDI I6 4-Dr ARFF (RHD) has to be completely reinforced for greater torsional rigidity & enhanced stiffening, essential for long term use . . . and a beefed up suspension with stiffer springs & shocks, a heavy duty off road optimized 5.5 in. suspension lift for off road use & 8-spoke BBSbeadLock® alloy wheels shod with PIRELLI (mild) all terrain radial tyres exclusive to ROSENBAUER Panther NXT 6X6 + 5.5 in. Lift 13.2 TDI I6 4-Dr ARFF (RHD) & other ARFF in it's class . . . the ROSENBAUER Panther NXT 6X6 + 5.5 in. Lift 13.2 TDI I6 4-Dr ARFF (RHD) could do with a longer 4-Dr Double Cab at the front . . . a second pair of doors immediate aft of the front driver's entry door as in conventional trucks with a frontal 4-Dr Crew Cab, (DOKA type) . . .

Ja, der PANTHER hat Bodensprühdüsen, die als Selbstschussanlage für den Einsatz verwendet werden, Tobiss. Rosenbauer kann an dieser Stelle leider keine Preisdetails bekanntgeben.

Ich habe mal gelesen, daß der Panther in Hollywood eingesetzt wurde in einen Film. War das eine Leihgabe von Rosenbauer oder wurde der dahin verkauft? Ich meine, dass Aussehen ist ja einmalig und mutet Futuristisch an. Na ja jedenfalls das geilste Löschfahrzeug, was es für 1,4 Millionen Euro zu haben gibt. Ich habe bei mir auf den Schreibtischen einen stehen, im kleineres Format in 8x8 stehen.

Many people think that ARFF trucks would be useful for municipal firefighting at first glance. After all, they carry a lot of water and foam and you can put it on the fire without leaving the cab! That's got to be useful in any firefighting situation, right? But once you learn more about firefighting tactics, you will see that municipal firefighting is very different than ARFF, and crash trucks are not a good fit for everyday house fires. They wouldn't make good heavy rescue trucks either, because they have little compartment space for equipment. Most of the space is given over the water tank and engine(s). (Some crash trucks have dual 700hp engines in the back!)

Look, I dislike Nascar as much as any other european, but I'd love to watch some crazy people (like myself) race a load of these on a banked circuit, especially if they could spray water/foam around to mess with the opponents.
