A phone convo, or better yet go see what he has! Are you seriously asking to name my favorite plant? I have 100s! I have a couple years on you ;)....but I can pick a favorite pothos...my golden....the first one I had was a monster, it had massive leaves grown on a 4 foot thicccc post....so long ago... I did a repot and it declined, then I had a greenhouse that froze, so now I have a new one that I got as a cutting and its started growing up a pole...it will live in the house now.

wait until you hear Dr. Chen's story. you re going to feel bad that you have them. He had no intention of these plants hitting the market. He's actually quite upset about. But you will see if you get a chance to speak to him. The story has been told in a few plant groups. Good luck with the plant. It doesn't live long.

I’m aware of the current situation. He’s upset at the nurseries that he entrusted them with. If he wants the plant back, I will return it to him. I’m not upset for purchasing a plant from an innocent local nursery. We can all be upset at the 2 that propagated it and released it to the world. I’ve seen this in the fish world a few times, you can only point fingers at those two.. you cant be mad at the world for wanting the beautiful plants and wanting to spend their money on it. I paid $24 of my hard earned money.. if Dr. Chen asks for them back I will be glad to ship it to him personally and be out $80 plus shipping. But for now, I will enjoy them for what they are.

I simply could not agree with you more. I practically hound passers by to take cuttings of any/everything I am growing if they show even the slightest interest in my garden. It’s beyond concerning to see a small 6” pot with a very hardy/propagatable houseplant in it for $59.00usd at the local big box supermarket. It’s misleading/discouraging to newbies, and frustrating to the OG’s (original/old time gardeners)

My most precious plant is a Thanksgiving cactus I grew from a cutting my sister gave me. Hers was propagated from my dad's plant years ago which he either propagated or inherited from my grandmother. It may not be the rarest or most unusual plant I own but it certainly brings me the greatest joy because of all the precious memories. I hope yours makes you just as happy!

@@jimmygimbal Oooh! I will! Also, Marble Queen and Snow Queen are great pothos varieties! I have been putting Marble Queen in my aquariums, and it thrives. Also, wanted to say that I remember watching you live stream way back when you were working on what turned out to be an "application" for Aquarium Co-op--you've come so far and deserve all the success ever! I love when good things happen to good people!

@@jimmygimbal that is why we got her in the first place. It was one of our first major plants that we got in the beginning of our plant journey so she’s been with us for a long time now and we can’t see life without her.

Hi! My favorite right now is my pearls n jade pothos. I’ve bought several starts of Manjula pothos from Etsy but they are always small and end up rotting on me. I’ll wait till I can afford a bigger piece and try again. Love the new one in this video. Doubt we’ll see it here in the open market (Lowes/ Home Depot) maybe if I’m lucky and hell freezes over I’ll see it! Peace Lily Picasso is another I’d love to find. Thanks for posting about this new pothos!
