Hey Icely, I just wanted to thank you for featuring my game on your channel! Your skills and commentary really added an extra layer of fun to the experience. Watching a seasoned puzzle player like you take on a game that I've poured over 2+ years of my life into, especially after making the decision to quit my job during the pandemic, was an absolute honor. Your passion for gaming is truly obvious in all of your contents, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have my game showcased by someone as dedicated as you. If you or your viewers have any questions or want to learn more about the game, feel free to reach out. I'm here to chat and provide any insights you may need. Thanks again for making my day!

very creative concept! what engine did you use for developing this game?
@armanpakan8 ай бұрын
@@iammonster666 Thank you! I started the development in Unreal Engine 4 and later I moved to Unreal Engine 5.

Is this going to be on any other platform?
@armanpakan8 ай бұрын
@@CoreyG1450 I started the process of getting the necessary licenses for console Dev-kits about 8 months ago! The original plan was to launch the game on PC and consoles at the same day but due to the lengthy process, I decided to release the game early on PC (Steam and Epic Store) for now. I am a solo developer who does the publishing part as well. I guess If I had a big publisher they could provide me with the Dev-kits in no time! If I wanted to have a chance with that, I should of come up with a more mainstream concept! So I will do my best to finish the paper work and pay the fees for those Dev-kits as soon as possible but I can't give any release dates because it's simply out of my hands!

idk if i like the idea of holding a bunch of keys every time I want to shoot but actually see where it is aiming ._.

@@IcelyPuzzles oh ok. I assume you'd prefer it to be a toggleable thing?
@armanpakan8 ай бұрын
@@IcelyPuzzles You're absolutely right! Using Reflect-Assist is an optional feature to make the game more accessible. It was actually added later on after one of my playtester friends asked for it. He is a VR developer, sent me an article regarding how brain recognize depth in a 2D screen. He convinced me to add the feature even though most of testers didn't used it that often afterward. I use it sometimes especially in those last levels when things start to get quite difficult (need to calculate 9 bounces for solving some puzzles) but even in those sections you don't have to use the assist!

A minimalist puzzle fps built around using primary colors?? Man I've been craving one of those since I beat Antichamber for the 15th time

This would be literally sick in VR
@armanpakan8 ай бұрын
haha.. I wonder how many gamers can survive this game on VR! I guess it depends on the person. I beat Polybius on VR many times without getting motion sickness! But when I was playing Resident Evil 7 on VR, I had a very hard time fighting with motion sickness way more than those jump scares!

by the gods, the beginning part looks so much like Antichamber, it made me tear up a bit actually either way, the game is amazing, and I wish to get my hands on it one of these days

Thank you very much! That was a huge compliment! Antichamber is one of the greatest indie games ever made! But If I want to be more specific, this project inspired by all of these games: 1. Antichamber 2. Rez Infinite 3. Thumper 4. The Witness 5. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
