great idea to make the city of Brisbane be a worldclass one to attract many foreign visitors. One of the great deficits of Brisbane is the dirty smelly colors of the river. Pls change the colors of the river likE seen in Okinawa, Hawaii, Polinatian countries, Aegeous, Midetteranian Sea, or thE sea of Nowway in The fyords. Brisbane's allure is the laid-back lifestyle and beautiful balmy weather. Postcards usually have koalas or beaches or historic building on them. It's not the sort of city that gets into pissing contests about who has the tallest tower but it definitely has the friendliest residents of any Australian capital city. You're an hour from beaches, rainforests, animal sanctuaries and some of the best shopping and theme parks in Australia. It's just a stunning place!

Yes Alan. spot on. they make that waterside area look nice lovely and alfresco, full of sunshine and open areas, access to waterways etc, when in reality its undercover of the busy SE freeway. fumes and no sun. still will be ok just, but they try to paint it differently than it will be. they need to plan to move the SE Freeway, maybe under the river somehow in a tunnel. i doubt that will ever happen tho. so its not like they present it. most ppl dont even realise.

Expressway is not covered. Everything is accessible to the public, other than the hotels, residential buildings, and hotel pools and courtyards. The rooftop bars, casinos, bridge, shopping centres, parklands, waterpark, cafes and restaurants and all of the jetties and everything else on the river front are accessible to the public.
