So far as first impressions goes it looks good, like every Rangeman. Function wise, definitely better than first gen Rangeman, it works. Well so far it does after testing for an hour or so. We'll see if it'll fit with my kind of use cases.

It would be nice if you did a full long features overview of the watch. I have found that cardio status still doesn't work after a year.

Unfortunately the GPS tracking is pretty bad. The trail/line left on the map after a walk a few times was way off. Like 50+ meters away from where I was actually walking. Also having two batteries, you can't really charge the watch properly with solar as that only powers time keeping apparently.

For me in person combined g shock with smart watch is a BIG NO. Colour is nice 🤩.

At this point, just get Huawei or Samsung smart watch. That's not what rangeman should be

The most I'm willing to pay for a g-shock is around 300 euros, that's how much the gg-b100 cost me.

This kind of watch are not my preferences,i love the old styling and feature from g shock,maybe that why i still wearing older model

That’s why I lost my love for G Shock. They have cool fashionable watches but their higher end Master of G models are all a scam. They claim to have an altimeter, thermometer, etc but in reality, they don’t. Hard to explain but nah

Absolutely right you are. I have Rangeman gw 9400 & Mudmaster gg b 100 but altimeter works by biometric pressure not actual height or elevation is showing, for accurate temperature, you need to remove the watch 😕, but barometer & sun rise & sun set timings are more accurate. Garmin, Suunto core are actually tactical watches, though it's costly & rare in India. Hope the altimeter works by actual elevation. And this watch is not a Rangeman, it's some kind of a hybrid, Gym training stuff .

Does this have a real stopwatch with 1/100 s. accuracy? Or is it only 1/1 s. like all the other MIP Casios? If only 1/1 s, it is yet another disappointment and can't be called or marketed as a sport watch. It is a pity, if Casio can't fix the issue. They even marketed the GBD-H1000 with a picture of a short distance runner... without a decent stopwatch. No no for me.

this is an inherent flaw of MIP displays, ie slow response rate. still, they could fix this issue by displaying the 1/100s value when the stopwatch is stopped. i don't want to see the the 1/100s seconds in real time.

@@susrev88 Yup. That is how e.g. Garmin does it. Why can't Casio do it similarly.
