The new sleds have arrived at Trackside in Eagle River, WI. Two identical Ski Doo Summit Expert 154 Turbo Rs are the first sleds to be added to our fleet this season. These are some of our favorite new features of the new chassis and the most notable improvements over the previous Gen 4. Watch for future updates on these sleds, as they transform throughout the early season and we get them out for the highly anticipated first day on the snow!

My brother live a half mile north of Track Side, right by HI Pines Campground! I was up there for the deer-gun season opener. I wish I knew you guys were gon a be in town! I remember going out to Jackson Hole, WY a few years back. Good times guys! Keep up the videos!

Man Doo just absolutely crushes build quality and esthetics. Their lines are just so killer. Having said that Poo is a dominate experience imo. The slim body, and forward position over the spindles is untouchable. Front end is just tits. I swear they're more powerful as well but admit I could be fanboying a lil some some. Admittedly we don't any hours on Gen 5. We have a garage full of Polaris but may be time to add a Doo to mix things up. They're so BA. Great content boys

I don t know if you know this, but you don t have to take the chain case appart if you remove the track. The gen 5 now has a coupler on the drive shaft

We heard this from Jay Mentaberry back in the spring but at a quick glance didn’t notice how it worked. That is going to be awesome. We dropped the skids last night to install rails and it was so much easier with those new drop brackets

You think the hood comes off easier? I think slightly more complicated than Gen4, not easier. I have a Wide body Renegade 900T though. It may be slightly different to the standard body. It's just left and right panel, same screws and same air box. That one has an extra panel to remove, plus the foam not attached to the panel to remove.

Our first Gen 4s you had 8 hex bolts, unplug headlights, unplug map sensor, and air intake. Lightweight turbo hoods went to 6 hex bolts and no map sensor. Now it's 4 and two plugs. After doing the panels a few times that part is getting easier but now there's 10 attachments on the side panels vs 6. Kind of a toss up

@@Boondock_Nation My Gen 4 wide body is. 1: left and right panel. 2: take out 6 screws. 3: loosen air box clamp. 4: disconnect left and right headlight. 5: pull off hood. You can just leave the instrument panel hanging on the handlebars.

Honestly, if you're not using finger throttle for any type of riding, you're missing out. It's far superior and more safe vs thumb. Finger should be the new standard. The grip and control for your right hand is just so much better, and you have more precise throttle inputs under any riding conditions. I suggest anyone just get used to finger, because once you do, you can't go back.

You sold me on the Munster finger throttle. I’m three full seasons into riding sleds and I just can’t seem to find a comfortable hand position with the throttle on my ‘22 Alpha. And, I gotta say, those Doo’s look sweet! I’m looking forward to your custom wraps 👊

How behind the times is Skidoo with their panel access. Polaris has 6 quick turns and both side panels are off. 2 more quick turns and the hood is off. No tools at all. WTF BRP….
