It’s about time we got the official cast reveal for the new upcoming season of total drama, “am I right?!” 😁 yeah we will see what happened next by the time this season airs we just don’t know what the release date is at the moment.

Mipcom will be from the 17th to the 20th. Based off of the info in the top right, R7 implies the room it takes place in and D18 means it will be on the 18th. So that’s when we will get more info I guess. Cartoon Network and the BBC are also both at the event (I couldn’t find a time unfortunately)

My personal favorite from just the picture is probably the military girl on the far right. She looks like Eva and maybe will be Eva but she gets farther. That is what I already think of Jo, but this girl is Eva and Brick combined to me.

The crazy looking purple haired girl looks likes shes gonna be like a sierra or izzy of this cast, but even more unhinged

I’m so pumped for this new season tbh! The cast honestly looks promising ngl my favorite design would probably have to be the Asian chick since she looks really cool and a fun character

I'm hoping/thinking that it's gonna be the same cast for all 26 episodes like the first 13 is the team portion and the last 13 is the merge.. I just don't think having 13 episodes with 16 brand new cast members is gonna work the characters won't be fleshed out enough. And I actually want to get to know these characters and be sad if they get eliminated

In regards to the release date, my best guess is that more news & an updated press release will come from the convention. I'm not necessarily expecting a trailer release (although how cool would that be). Just trying to keep me expectations low so we can be wowed when the convention starts. Awesome video!

as much as I like the original cast, at least we are getting a new season instead of total dramarama. People should just be happy and move on

I’m kind of glad they aren’t going back to the OG cast. They completely missed an opportunity for the OG cast + Alejandro and Sierra to compete in season 4. Tbh, I think they’re nervous to go back into the OG cast since TDWT is such a beloved season, they probably don’t want to disappoint. Plus, I think the writers can make more stories with new characters, especially since there’s some LGBTQ+ representation on these new seasons!

Pretty sure that in-universe the show Total Drama got cancelled but years later due to popular demand by fans it got enough support so that the producers would do one more season/a revival, re-hired Chris and Chef but decided to return to the roots of the series. My bet is that the show will acknowledge that the whole thing is a reboot. As for Camp Wawanakwa suddenly returning after being a complete toxic wasteland? It either got restored somehow with very few traces of the toxic wastes being shown, or this is a man-made island specifically for the show that adopted the name, or a fake island akin to what was established before TDA.

How about a new idea of a new season of Total Drama: Total Drama Highschool Adventure Of Students as a spine off maybe for 3 seasons (primary/secondary/tertiary school, main theme: school, season: autumn/winter, the limit amount of participating characters as students around 24-30, challenge: activities, group projects, seminaries, homeworks, partial test subjects, exams and final exams as a part of a challenge and the hosts would be teachers and confessionals are interviews after the end of school/middle of a big break on a cafeteria or schoolyard and the student with the highest amount of better grades and participations are immune and they can move onwards while the student with the lowest amount of grades are kicked out through flunking or being a repeater from not promoting the subject with better grades, and not to forget the elimination method would be all of students eliminate an unprepared student that perfomance poorly will take the buss of shame by leaving the school and the winning final two students will win the highschool by securing a degree/graduate and 1 hour special episode in the winter of december). I think you're overthinking it. I 100% believe it's one season being split into two. I.e. the seasons will most likley be split into merge and pre merge. In TV terms, 26 half hours means 26 episodes. The two seasons are mostly like just about this cast of 16 characters. The 26 episodes are probaly going to be split between merge and post merge.
