Yes the big reveal, she's here!!!! Our latest addition to the tractor fleet, Massey Ferguson 7618!!!!!! Goodbye 6290 hello 7618!!!! We've had our eye on this tractor for a long while when we went down to Ned Murphy Tractors, and everything has fallen into place. The lads did a great jov of tidying her up and we can't wait to put her to work.

Make sure to check the water pump those are weak and wil fail prematurely Also make sure to check the enige breather if its not puking oil into the air intake those could cause alot of adblue problems The datatronic can be retrofitted

Congrats on the new tractor! For a machine with 8,000 hours on it, it looks stunning. I'm impressed by how nice the used tractors look over there. Here in the states, a tractor with 8,000 hours would have broken and smashed bits all over it. The 7618 and the 6499 also make quite a nice pair; I love the newer Massey bonnets on both series. Congrats again; hope you get many good hours out of it!

You’ll have happy farming with that 7618. We’ve had ours since 2015. She gives us no trouble at all, and although she has 6937 hrs on the ticker she still feels like she did when she was new, in fact in some respects she is smoother and she also uses less fuel these days as we had her remapped two years ago. We use ours primarily for mowing using a front mounted disco and rear offset disco, lovely tractor to work with. Enjoy.

If I’m not mistaken phill I think they are 180hp and 200hp on boost if I remember rightly and we have a 7614 but one thing we found was adblue giving trouble so we had it turned off and it’s a completely different tractor now

Congratulations with the new tractor, I actually thought it was a 6618 coming, but I guess this would do well! Gonna be interesting to see it with the bigger tires. It looks like a "low-spec" 7618, the one's around here in Norway i belive everyone has Datatronic, and a lot of them also have the Dyna-VT gearbox with the joystick in the armrest :)

lovely little machine phill get her chromed up, if you can afford it buy and keep the older gear aswell, that way you always have backup sat in the yard,bad weather or tight on time run both , glad bro is becoming keen

You should get her chiped and take off the adblue I got my 6712s done this spring she went form 140 to 170 and it made a new tractor out of it

A fine looking tractor, best of luck wit it, don’t put mirror guards on the mirrors, they look horrid, & would only spoil the looks of it, definitely don’t..

Run a 6715s on a lely tornado baler and she bales away no issues power wise 150 boost to 170 very gutsy tractors pulls very well. Susu 4.9l engine great puller. 7618 is a fine bus best of luck lads

Nice yolk bro, remember add blue crystallises when it drys, it goes to dust, whatever you poor it through funnel,pipe, etc wash it thoroughly with clean water & keep it clean, any crap will destroy the add blue system 👍

To Be fair there's only about 90% of that 6890 leaving the farm. The rest is in rust form scattered aboot the farm. Fun fact no one goes metal detecting on Phil's farm unless they want to find Massy parts 🙃🙃. 555. 5:55 Says every thing that you get salvage Masseys 😆😆😆😆 She is a nice bit o kit lovely nice to see it on ya farm. Its all a bit simple in the cab and im not talking about bro 😁😁

hope you get on well with it just like the 6290 very sad to see it go it was my favourite tractor in the yard but hopefully it goes to a new home and some one apreashiate it as much as you did (even though you still didnt change the mudguards but how and ever) (LOL🤣) so mabe if the butterfly mowers dont go you can have the 99 and the butterfly mowers and the khun and john deere mowers mowing together in the one field👌👌👌and you should fit two led light bars on it front and back, a massey fergeson thingy on the exaused two mirror guards with led lights on it, spray the side pannels black put led amber lights under neath the bonnet, an air horne and change every work light from top to bottem with leds 👌👌👌😉😉
