75 interest ad sets is wild, and people are saying interest targeting is dead! Really impressive. I'm curious with so many interests are you going after single targeting, stacked, or a mix of both?

So much has changed in the last few months. We now rollout a combo of audiences and broad. The one thing that’s 100% a lock is single interest is better than stacked.

This campaigns structure is close to what I put in practice in my job. I would like to hear from your opinions about mobile app campaign structure. It is hard to target based on in-app events that are not set default like add-to-cart. Or maybe I dont know, do you have any idea of integrating in-app events cohorts into campaign structure? Also, do you suggest advantage plus for mobileapp campaigns as well?

All placements by default but we run a script that notifies us when one placement is performing better/worse which allows us to modify in some cases

Is Prospecting Advantage+ Campaign creating with CBO or ABO again?

Advantage+ is naturally an ABO because you cannot create multiple ad sets

Hello Sam, Do you exclude audiences in different campaigns? Let's if they click on the ad and go on the website, they are in "visited" website audience group. So your another campaign would target them or you just don't exclude audiences at all?

It depends on the size of the business. If you have over 1000 customers in the last 180 days then exclusions are a must from my perspective. The only consistent exclusion I always use is a 7 day purchaser audience on all campaigns.

Hey Sam, nice content here thanks for the video ! If I sum up everything, you have 1 ABO campaign, with multiple adsets (1 interest per adset) ; and how many ads per adset ? Also, isn't that a 2020/2021 strategy ? Seems to be the opposite of the power 5 recommended by Meta, isn't it ?

Hey, correct on the abo side. We also tend to add an advantage+ campaign into the mix as well. The number of ad sets does not matter as it’s budget dependent. Roughly 5 is a good start but just add more as you scale. Give everything at least 7 days before pausing. Bonus if you add bid caps to this strategy (new video coming soon)

Hello, i like you videos. This many adsets is all for one product? Or you mix diferent products on that abo campaign? If so, you push ads of diferent products in that advantage + campaign?

Awesome video @sampiliero. Unrelated, when do you recommend starting TikTok ads? Do you recommend to keep putting $$$ into FB and Google until we hit our breakeven ROAS as per your other videos? Or is there some other metric you would use instead. Would really appreciate your insight on this :)

Great question, keep pushing into one channel until you hit your breakeven roas then move to the next. once you hit your breakeven on facebook and google id then recommend looking at your ads, conversion rate, landing pages! tiktok is generally only converting for low value products

you mention using adsets as 'ad packs' how many ads are you testing in each ad set? is that just testing different variations of headlines/body text with 1 creative/angle?

The ideal amount is 4-6 ads. They can be variations or completely different, doesn’t matter.

Yes but as mentioned in the video I’d recommend looking at atc and initiate checkout events so you have more data to work with.

thanks a lot for these informations. I have a question I always run a new campaign and it works well for the next 7 to 14 days, then it starts to go down and reach a high cost. So I stop them. what i have to do now ?? 😣😣

1. Don’t shut them down. 2. Set a clear goal at your breakeven cpa or road. 3. Your campaigns fatigue likely because they are snatching up lowest hanging fruit and easiest customers first. 4. Rotate in new creative every 7 days.

100% I used October because November and December would look too good because of Black Friday and Christmas shopping. These results are more realistic, hope you can appreciate that 💪🏻
