Witchcrafter is pretty cool but Konami did them such a disservice by giving them a fusion spell that doesn't fuse from graveyard or banish

Fun Fact: Vice-Madame is Haine when Verre decided to up and leave the witchcrafters so ig if in the future they release more support, theyll have fusion summons of themselves. Also still missing a lvl 6 star witchcrafter

I prefer running witchcrafters with a small magistus engine. Makes it a lot more consistent since Rilliona can search for magistus invocation giving you a much better chance of opening with Vice-Madame. Paired with Zoroa and Trismagistus you get access to the Magistus extra deck, giving you an extra deck lock with the Zoroa synchro, or you can get an omni-negate with Savage Dragon. Rilliona also ties in to the Witchcrafters lore.

Show some love for my Witchcrafter girls. Poor Haine went through an existential crisis accepting her future role as Vice-Master,which improves the deck's performance with Aruru and Verre around, but just go easy on that girl,she's been through a lot. Loving the fact of Aruru saving the day, just like she always does. Notes to support these girls 1) Magician's Valkyria: She's the main attack target while you have other spellcasters on the field (sr), I'd say 2) Apple and Lemon Magician Girl, but with how fast paced this current format is, their static waiting to be attacked effects are bad but they're n/r, so it's a good option to consider, Dark Veil (I think Atem was the one using it) to summon Haine/any dark spellcaster or bait negates. 3) Apprentice Illusion Magician (Sr) to boost dark spellcasters attack when being or if attacking (sort of like an accesible dark honest), 4) Magic gate of miracles for the memes, 2 spellcasters to target and steal a monster your opponent controls+ make it unable to be destroyed by battle (don't remember if r or n) 5) Chaos scepter blast (r or n) to use it when you have a lvl 8 spellcaster on your field and banish something your opponent control, 6) Quintet Magician is another good boss monster for this deck (sr) and if you want to recover the banished girls, run some 7) nemeses cards, they're n and r. 8) Blizzard Princess (Sr) casually lvl 8 too, is just Silent Magician, soft floodgate of shutting down your opponents backrow for the turn she's summoned 9) Silent Magician (Sr) you can special summon her by tributing a spellcaster, +500 attack for each card in hand+cheap on field negator 10) Ninaruru, the magistus glass goddess (xyz, and r or n) 2 lvl 4 spellcasters, detach a material and target a spellcaster in your gy and add it to your hand+good defense 11) Dark Doriado (R or N) to unbrick your hand when needed, but remember to run different types of attribute cards to use her effect upon summon 12) Dark Renewal, trap (R or N) target a monster your opponent controls and a spellcaster you control and summon a dark spellcaster from deck 13) Aiwass, the magistus spirit (fusion R or N) Magistus and a spellcaster, magic gate of miracles fusion version 14) Magician's Defense (R or N) damage taken a when spellcaster is destroyed is halved

Yeah, I’ve been enjoying Vice-Madame since she came out. Been thoroughly enjoying Invoked Witchcrafter. More than I thought so to be honest.

I’ve been playing Witchcrafters for about a month and I love it, I’ve found that it’s pretty capable of holding its own and even besting some top tier decks. I like to use Raigeki Break then discarding one of the spells, discarding Genni, or discarding Schmietta to get their effect. They could def use more support, I’d like a few more extra deck monsters and some better trap cards.

witchcrafter connoisseur here, the few misplay i've seen is: 1. 2:48 they should've summon verre in attack position, since we didn't know the backrow we're going to assume it's called by or crossout. it's very unlikely that it's a smasher since most people only play 1 and they didn't search it, they didn't put it in the middle so it's probably not imperm either, and nobody can expect anyone to play droplet if it's imperm or droplet it'll pretty rough as you can see, since that hand is one of the worst witchcrafter hand possible, especially going 2nd, only beaten by having no spell in hand. but from the reasoning above we're going to assume it's neither the 2 of them if that's the case then they should've summon verre in attack position, then go to the battle phase, enemy will try to activate elf which they should ignore since there's nothing the enemy can summon that can interrupt verre. then if enemy try to i:p negate it, if not then attack the carrot, then use verre's negate in bp since i:p can't activate her effect in there, in mp2 activate grass, hope whatever they mill is enough to clean enemy's board, and boom, profit they can also try to use collab in the case enemy didn't use i;p, and if the backrow is a negate enemy will likely save it in the bp, since no one read collab 2. 7:20 you already said it, they should've summoned aruru after the battle phase since they're not dead yet even if they didn't block the attack 3. 8:33 they could've done better move to preserve more advantage, but tbh it didn't really matter since they have so many cards anyway

So being that you didn't know the monster he summoned to the field would've went to his hand at the end of his opponents turn. If anything he should've went Verre unless it has to be in attack position. If it doesn't then him going Verre would've had a 2800 defense monster and a negate on board after taking 3000 damage. This in turn would've been the better play being that he would've had more cards in spells in his hand and once he does the fusion the game would've been over. Still getting the win is what is still important.
