They actually have gone back to the real classic grill which was vertical instead of horizontal. Look at all old BMW classics, they have been around for longer then the horizontal grills, just smaller in size. But the Design language of the "new" grill, is the actual classic

There should be an aftermarket number plate casing for the front bumper or some carbon fibre accessory to hide the bottom half of the grill to resize it to resemble the grill from F80. If that doesn't work, just swap the grill and bumper with an aftermarket pair that looks good and fits perfectly on the same clips and bolts.

All competitions for the g8x are auto. BUT… the normal trim has an optional manual. Not too sure about the xdrive, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. If you’re not familiar with the reasoning, bmw has the competition for the best performance on the model, so obviously a computer to shift exactly when optimal is the best option. Paddles are fun, but obviously not a manual. Hope you actually get one of these the performance is unreal and the car looks beautiful and is one of my favorites despite what people say. 😄

The best aspect of BMW M3 competition I love is the way the car is balanced the silky smooth way that on a track you can hold the oversteer for long as you care to , the chassis engineers at BMW are some of the best in the industry at M motorsport division as oversteer is like pouring extra thick double cream from a jug !
