I think it’s also because Ian had family that cared for him like Fiona, Lip, even his mom at times but Mickey had almost no one ever show they loved or cared about him til Ian

I can’t get over how different Noel is from Mickey. Noel is just so giggly and his laugh is EVERYTHING. My only complaint about this video was that it wasn’t 20 minutes long. Love these two and will miss them so much when the season is over 😭

Noel was 25-26 in S1. It's partly why they didn't kiss for a long time, Cam was underage and Noel wouldn't do it.

In earlier interviews Noel insisted Mickey was into Ian from the very start, he just supressed his feeling deep down.

@@tsharkhoe3112 And to me the obvious thing is that Mickey had been stealing food from Kash&Grab for weeks just to piss Ian off, to get his attention. He even said, "You know where I live if you have a problem" in 1×06. No reaction from Ian. So in 1×07 he beat Kash up (he knew they were a thing) and even stole his gun to make sure Ian would stand up for his lover or at least have to get the gun back and confront him for once . So Ian did and they hooked up. I mean considering the family Mickey was raised in he didn't know how to express his interest in a healthy way, so he acted like a bully. If Ian was a girl he'd pull on her braids or ponytail. This is obvious to me.

I personally think they were equally in love since the beginning, with the huge difference that Ian thought/believed that what they had could never be a serious long term relationship because Mickey...well, it's Mickey...simply he wasn't husband material (always on the edge, married with a woman, in and out of jail all the time etc.), while Mickey knew that Ian could be his forever lover because more reliable than him (even despite being bipolar). Plus, I don't think Ian understood how deeply Mikey was in love with him (how to blame him? Mickey was not the best in showing his feelings, even though we all know how big Mickey's heart is). Growing up, both of them, he saw that Mickey, the man he has always been in love with, could also be his future and he never let go again. And he never will ❤

Nahh this days the tv shows not only they have not got happy endings but they kill the nice ones too , my fav 13w show Justin died and he was the kindest and favorite character of the show, I think 1: Carl will either die in service , or this new chick got him a std , and she shows up pregnant with Carl’s baby and the baby is Carl’s presence, or he dies of covid . In the IMDb shameless last episode is the actor of Steve /jimmy maybe he will came to the funeral in fiona’s representation or Carl’s funeral will be the reason Fiona will apear one last time 2. Ian or Mickey will die of covid 3. Fiona is dead ( possibly of covid) and jimmy/Steve will came in representation of Fiona to give the money or things Fiona made in testament to the Gallagher’s and that will save the Gallagher’s economic problems . Favorite characters from shameless are Fiona , Carl , ian and Mickey

We are so pleasant for this surprise on Valentine's day to all gallavich fans! I was literally screaming while I was watching this cute video. You f*cking made my day with today's shameless episode and this amazing one! I am smiling right now) Nothing made me so happy today but this one ( and of course a new episode) God, you guys don't even imagine what the cool thing you did for us Love Noel and Cameron a lot No one cares but even my boyfriend forgot about Valentine's day ( however we were talking about it two days ago) so I was really upset ( I guess now I still am a little bit). Where was I these whole 10 years?!? Never heard about these two before. It would be great to get to know them while growing up as they are in the series. Yeah my boyfriend just started watching it and I said that Micky and Ian are my favourite characters and he's like I don't understand why you like Micky so much he's an asshole and call people the F slur all the time and I'm a huge LGBTQ advocate so he didn't understand why I like him so much I'm just like you don't understand Mickey and Ian are the best he is just in the closet right now and hates himself you leave Micky alone he is my precious boy!!

Mickey definitely fell first. I think it really hit home when he couldn't kill Frank (so end of S2). Ian, I'd say sometime after their time apart, hence his ' I sort of have a boyfriend' to Ned (start of S3).
