Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khan want the Waqf to take over India's pride -- The Taj Mahal -- and BJP MP Yogi Adityanath says it was partly a temple. They race against each other to communalise the Taj Mahal. It's the theatre of absurd in Uttar Pradesh polity. Their sudden obsession with India's pride - The Taj Mahal -- is amusing to say the least. A few BJP leaders' desperation to make a fool of themselves has become evident.

GabbarSeTakkar Constitution of india has said every citizen must have scientific attitude. Its not about religion. Its about the heart to accept the truth revealed by science because thats what stands in the court of law. So I am following it. Please read the book written by these archeologists. "A handbook to agra and the taj, sikandra, fatehpur sikri and the neighbourhood" by E.B.Havell. Also read books and life stories of Mrs.Kenoyer and Sir W.W.Hunterhave. After reading completely then please comment. And what you are talking about 'phoren' bug? You yourself are using internet invented by foreign and typing in english which is a foreign language. Develop some scientific attitude. I am not fundamentalist like RSS or MIM. And dont redicule people saying joker. Have respect for every profession. Have I said egypt's pyramid was built by hindus? I believe what scientific studies have shown. Dont put words in my mouth.

What people are saying is that the official history is distorted. If Arnab really had a scientific temper and open views, he would find it acceptable to admit that there could have been two versions before one of them is verified within the Taj itself to be correct and the other wrong. By basing his whole secular-communal argument on the premise that the official history cannot be disputed, he is the one being obdurate.

Aurav Walden May be when in near future or may be when BJP wins all the seats in Parliament and has Govt. in all the states they will appoint a panel headed by historians of their choice who will carry out investigations by all means to prove that Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Charminar and all the monuments thought to be built by Mughal invaders were actually old temples. Then at least we will be freed from the efforts to travel to see them as monuments.

Abdullah Khan It is not BJP that wants to do this or anything controversial or anything that will upset order in our society when we don't have time for such things but must concentrate on development, together, for everyone. My comment was also not in favour of one view or another. I was only complaining that Arnab hears only one view and does not allow even the expression of the other. So what if the monuments stand and are a source of wonder even after possibly knowing their supposed past? That is history. Does that mean we won't even acknowledge their supposedly temple past, even if that is proved? Or, like Arnab, we won't even hear that view, leave alone consider it? How deaf can we be or how blind? And why? Are we that barbaric that we fear what we may do, ourselves? Who is creating such fear psychosis?

Aurav Walden BJP wants development is nothing suprising as it has suffered once during Vajpayee's tenure and understood well that anti-muslim agenda can not stand for a long time. Even Modi asked for a sort of cease fire on riots but not a complete ban as he also know that by development he can win the hearts of Hindus and the let them loose on muslims. If BJP wants development then there is no point in allowing its fringe leaders to say what they like. In fact whatever they say and do is always planned. Arnab is a classic case of fish-market journalism and he always drives people and the debate towards his goal. Muslims in general are not concerned whether Taj stays their as a monument, a temple or become a Gaushala.

May Almighty bless everyone. we all know that TAJ MAHAL is one of the worlds top 7 wonders and we should feel proud of it that Taj mahal is in our country instead of fighting between each other ... every Indian has the right to enter Taj Mahal irrespective of community and take pride of it.... so it's my humble request to all my brother and sister don't bring community into Taj Mahal.... one more thing I would like to add that India is well known for it's diversity because it only can be seen in India where people of different community are living together peacefully and helping each other (that is the diversity).. you will never find it in any other country , So be proud to be an Indian and having such a Wonder in our country.#jai _hind #Vande _Matram....

Read the book by PN Oak on Taj Mohal. Shah Jehan has not made it but remodelled a Rajput fort where Tajo Mahal was a temple.

Moses Benhur Proofs are there in a number of books and articles. The arguments presented in PN Oaks book cannot be demolished. Similarly, the evidences provided by Nicholas Notovitch and Swami avedananda that Jesuis was in India and Tibet when he was between the age of 13 to 26, cannot be demolished either.

just one question ki agar waha mandir tha n sharjah ne capture karke ushai wapas banaya toh waha par woh un diwaro par om kyu likwayage ...woh joh tumlog om bol rahe ho woh ek flower hai dat its ...har kisi ka dekhne ka narjirya alag hota hai ...aur joh waha par carbon checking hui tumlog ke hisab se ke 300 saal phele waha kuch tha ..toh may bhi yeh ho sakta hai ki waha aur kuch sturture ho sakta hai koi example koi fort ho sakta hai ya kuch aur.......so evidence loa but proper .....imagination ya kuch aur nahi ...most imp think ki tajmahal aaj symbol of love mana jata hai ...khuda ho ya bhagwan unko msg hi pyar hota hai ...soh bhi jab woh msg waha se aa raha hai toh fir kyu maach maach karna ......aaj woh tajmahal hai toh waha hindu muslim christan etc sab aate hai india economy banti hai ....shiv mandir banega only hindus aayege ..desh ki economy par farak padega ..jab shanti se chal raha hai ttoh kyu karna yeh sab .so be indian think like indian

This is all bullshit. This politicians are just beating around the bush. Taj Mahal is built in India and for India. Taj Mahal is not a Political Monument, Taj Mahal is not a HINDU Temple nor Muslim Temple or for Christians. It is a Cultural symbol of our Indian Nation. No one should be the owner of Taj Mahal for this is the property of each and every citizens of India.

the people are really watching the BJP govt how they are spreading religious fighting in the country. BJP have not to develop the country they came to ruine the country by spreading religious fights. since last two years there is development in the country. poor are looted by way of taxes rise in all prices. The rich becoming richer and richer. The people's money is used for security of BJP MPS , PM use money they are using security for them some crores of rupees for security as they want they should be safe. tell the people die. since BJP and RSS are in the centre only dailts, muslims chriatians are killed.
