Los legendario faimot hacia más de 30 años que no veía uno ni en fotos mi abuelo y mi padre tuvieron uno para su trabajo y los de la brigada de vías eran los más grandes, y así de color amarillo

Does it have forward & reverse tyranny, or is high & low gear

Great question! High, neutral, and low. The hit-and-miss engine has to be restarted in the opposite direction to change the direction of the car. No forward and reverse transmission on almost all of those Fairmont hit-and-miss powered cars.

There is a problem with that engine ... I suppose that it is a 2-stroke, no? But it is "4'-stroking" a lot. Are you sure of the correct mixture? (and the correct spark-plug ... 'cold or warm"??? ) Nice machine it is, for sure !!! 😀

Nothing wrong with the engine, just had it at fast RPM's while having virtually no load. Fairmont designed their engines to do this sort of thing...there are some better videos on KZfaq of Fairmont engines behaving that way. You can really hear the difference when it's moving and essentially the "clutch" is engaged.

Utility cart. Needed room. Often had tie replacements or maybe a rail section to fix a bad area of line.

An open car like this is an incredible experience...like riding in a convertible or motorcycle instead of a regular car...exhilarating!!! However, in cold or rain...anyone would definitely miss that cover!
