Um.... I believe this series genre you are attempting to describe is known as "Crime Drama", Starz continues to cash in on the series so clearly it is not worn out. It is still as popular now as it was 20 yrs ago, now today a good writer can take inspiration from hit shows like "The Wire" and "The Sopranos" and probably create something similar that also becomes a networks most watched program. I hear you, I do, but.... if there is no "crime", than it becomes simply a "drama"... and neither Starz or 50 want Power the soap opera...

We didn't but Power Origins is something I think people wanted since the OG Power. So two years from now, we'll be getting Power Origins after the last season of RK where Kanan and possibly Breeze slide over from RK to Origins. Still waiting for Shawns baby mama to pop up cuz that should be happening before RK is actually over. But you're right. Remember, this wasn't supposed to be the final season, this season was that shift CK mentioned 3 years ago when she was still the showrunner where she mentioned she had a 7-8 season plan for Ghost. The woman thats making him choose between the streets and going legit is revealed to be Diana. It's starting to move away from the college environment and its starting to mirror a lot like OG Power somewhat with the parties and it's going to move more towards the streets. After this shift, there coulda been 4 to 5 more season just based on this shift alone. Reason why Ghost was cancelled was because it was a very expensive show, call it a salary restructure. I definitely feel there's another Tariq chapter happening, with just less "A-list names". Force on the other hand, didn't get cancelled but it's ending on their own terms. Tommy's journey in Chicago is done but it's not the end of his character and I feel that same way with Tariq and the character is still young and is on the way up. There should definitely be something bigger coming for real. We're living in a cost cutting era in Tech and entertainment these days.

I don’t think the kid survives. The trailer shows Tariq with tears in his eyes and Monet looking like she’s attending a funeral. I think that’s of the baby. The scene with the task force breaking in the tejada home, there are a lot of gift bags on the table, which we can assume Diana had a baby shower. I think reason for the second half is there’s a gap between part one and part two. When they come back I think Diana is 7-9 months pregnant and a lot of stuff has been happening leading up to the all the action we’re going to see.

I thought Tariq was crying over Tasha. I could be wrong, but that forehead looks familiar. I hope it’s neither, but I guess we will find out in a couple of months.

The only time Tasha had her hair pulled back was when she was in jail and it was braided then. This person’s hair is pulled back looks like a ponytail. I think the spin off will be of Tate. “Possibly” one with Tommy Tariq Tasha and Effie in California. Or Tommy could return to NY. I do think we will get a Tate spin off though. Based on Ep 7 description Carter asks Dru “to take out a threat to his organization.” I think that’s Karl Carter wants dead and if they kill kamal I think we will see Tate. They’ve mentioned his name so much and we have not seen him so I think it ends with Tate wanting answers and looking for answers and going after Carter which will lead to his spin off.

@@sandra7840 I doubt a Tate spinoff will happen because in my opinion the reason why influence is because starz didn’t think the power fan base would take to it because as much people love or love to hate characters like ghost, Tariq and raq a lot of people watch the show for violent characters with a sensitive side like Tommy, cane and Marvin and influence wouldn’t have a character like that I could see Tate maybe playing a role going forward but at the end of the day a power show will always be centered around a drug dealer plus Larenz Tate as main character would cost a lot of money and starz doesn’t have that otherwise they wouldn’t be ending the shows I think the spin off will be Tariq and Tommy as the leads and Brayden, dmac, maybe jp, and depending on how things go Diana or Anya because the description for episode 10 says after given a second chance Tariq must choose between the game and starting a new life so that could involve Diana and their baby assuming she’s still alive by that point or it could be Anya because she told her mother she wanted a new start and they mentioned her trust fund so I could see her somehow being able to get access to it even though she’s not 21 yet or noma dies and leaves her money and she wants Tariq to run away with her because I do think Tariq is gonna fall for at some point I think Tasha is gonna die and that’ll bring Tariq and Tommy back together

@@sjsmith28 I don’t think Tasha will die. I could be wrong but it doesn’t make sense for her and Tommy to make up and say they’re the only family they have left only to kill her off. I could be wrong about that though. The only reason I think we may get the Tate spin off is because they’re mentioning his name a lot and we have not seen him but we see his brother. Also, Davis and Nina’s connection to the politician and him helping Noma get her business established in the US and get a green card. I could see him finally getting a spin off because like Sweeney helping the Weston’s stay in business, and Wiley taking bribes for favors has shown politicians are just as dirty as cops in the power universe so I won’t be surprised. Lorenz Tate was asked about it at the premier and refused to answer the question of if he will get his spin off. It would have been easier for him to say that’s been canceled but he didn’t. Then again, he could just not have answered it because it’s nothing to answer. I do think Tommy and Tariq will team up. Tommy was headed to California and told someone on the phone he would be lates maybe Effie makes it to Stanford and we see Tariq there too. Not sure we will see JB and D Mac. JB wants nothing to do with Tommy as long as he’s in the game and I do think Jenard and diamond will set d-Mac up to get kill for killing that man’s nephew.
