I am a 49er fan but the Packers have our attention they are peaking at the right time and should not be taken lightly. What they did in Dallas shocked the whole NFL. It’s going to be interesting if the Packers can keep it going against our mighty 49er team. I hope the winner wins the Super Bowl.

Thank you for being honest. I see a lot of fans, not just Niner fans, but the whole NFL, writing off GB as a fluke. But you hit the nail on the head. They’re just getting hot, at the perfect time. Are they more talented than San Francisco? Not a chance. But it’s that perfect mix of talent, chemistry, and positive energy that get it done. Any time I bring up the Packers having a chance, it’s met with eyerolls. But yet, the same thing was said before last Sunday. Yet here we are. Do I think it’s most likely going to happen? Nope. But that chance is much greater than I think people realize. If they sustain the high from the win in Dallas, any team in the NFL is beatable. But at the end of the day, the Niners will pose a much tougher task. Now they must beat an even more talented roster, in an unfamiliar environment yet again, with most likely an even more amped up crowd. Even with nothing to lose, each round will add just a wee bit more pressure. If I was a bettor, I’m going with the 49ers at the end of the day. While GB may display more effort and heart (potentially,) the current more polished team comes out ahead in this one.

I also am a lifelong Packers fan. Everyone is hyping up Jordan Love, and rightly so, but when i see this Packers team, i see just that... a TEAM. A really good bunch of young men united with Jordan Love on offense. Really pleased to see the defense play well the last 2 or 3 weeks, too. And they BELIEVE. They have totally bought into MLF's offensive schemes, and they're working, executed flawlessly. The big plus is that these are all young guys that'll be together for years. @@patrickturk8957It opened up the passing game. This Packers team, and any team for that matter, success comes with a good Offensive Line, paired with a running back that makes the defense take notice. If Jones is going nowhere on the ground, and they abandon the run, the outcome of this game, and the games leading up to this, much different. Just look at San Francisco. Top NFC team, top run game. Then, look at the rest of the playoff teams. Most if not all had a well above average run game.

This is the first year of a Matt LaFluer offense! He didn't have complete control with Rodgers. The change came in mid-season when LaFluer finally trusted Jordan and his receivers enough to allow him to open in up. But all this success is due to having a healthy Aaron Jones and good offensive line to keep those defenses on their heels. The key to this next game is keeping SF pass rush at bay long enough to allow Jordan to find an open receiver. I expect heavy blitzes, so screen passes and over the middle receptions are going to be key to moving the chains. SF has more offensive weapons, so this could be a shoot out.

Yea, men I think the key of the packers is if the o-line can protect JLove, is a hard matchup, they have to cover Bosa and Chase young at the same time, and for the packers defense the key is also pass rush when Purdy has been pressured he makes a lot of mistakes, very interesting game I hope my packers can win, but this SF team looks almost perfect in every position

youre gonna get very little blitzes. 49ers dont need to blitz, their DL is the best in the league. And im a packers fan. Statistically Speaking Green Bay’s biggest defensive advantage is actually their pass rush as outside of Trent Williams the 49ers haven’t been great at pass blocking (26th in the league). And it’s not like Gary plays on Trent’s side anyways so you won’t rlly see that matchup happen. Also their IOL has been the bane of their pass pro, and will the Variety of Ways GB can punish the interior blockers in pass downs, it’s a glaring equalizer

Also Joe Barry’s problem is that he mixes things up *too much* this year, which is (ironically) the exact *opposite* problem than what we dealt with last year. He’s improved a ton, and this is his chance to show it (I definitely wanted him gone, but I’ve come around to what we have…)

Ive been trying to educate these people to the fact that we've faced them 9 times in playoffs and lost 5 times... however... of those 5 loses, Aaron Rodgers owned 4 of them. He couldnt beat them in the Post Season. He held a 0-4 post season record against SF. San Fran will be playing against a completely different Packers team than they are used to... The lack of pressure/expectation is what's keeping this team so chill and calm. I think it was the pressure of making a SB appearance for the Cowboys that caused them to crumble under pressure - Jones constantly putting pressure on the team and the coaching staff to make it to the NFC championship game and win. That's why the Cowboys lost and that's why they continue to lose regardless of what team or coaching staff they have. I also think that's why Aaron struggled so much. He won the Pack a SB early on in his career and had the expectation to win one or two more. He would always be compared to Favre, and in order to truly outshine Favre, he needed one more SB win, and that pressure prevented him from winning it. Rodgers never looked good in the playoffs besides that first SB trip. This team right now reminds me of that Wildcard Pack team that won the SB in 2011. There was no expectation to do well, and the team caught some good momentum late in the season. If we can get over the next big hurdle of beating SF, I think we have a legit shot at the SB again.

The packers started clicking on Thanksgiving. They really click when they are on. But then there are those games when they regress. When they’re on, they’re really on.

Packers fan since I first understood how football was played, circa 1995. As you mentioned, Packers shocked everyone by even making the playoffs (3-6 halfway through the season, I was honestly expecting our chances to be 0 in two weeks, myself.). The fact we got to the postseason in what was a rebuild year already made this season a success. Beating the Cowboys in Dallas was just extra icing on the cake. We’re playing with house money and really have nothing to lose, and that makes us even more dangerous. Expecting a good game in SF on Saturday night, a chance of winning if we can keep it close, but I’m not expecting us to do what we did in Dallas. Can we? Of course. Will we? Remains to be seen. But as the old (reworded) saying goes, “Any given game day…”

I've been a Packers fan since 1990 and I haven't felt this excited for many years as the Rodgers era fizzled out and turned more into drama and a feeling that he would never win a second super bowl. Jordan Love has reignited that feeling and has given me mega faith in him and this team that are his ride or die playing united and strong and will win more than one super bowl. Go Pack.

I Am Very Happily Blown Away With How Surprisingly Well the Packers Are Playing Right Now... During Their 4 game Losing Streak....I Thought They Were Done.....But...They Weathered The Storm....BIG TIME.... Even If They Don't Win This Week...I Will Be Very Happy With This Season's Performance....

If you want to see when this this team was born just watch the first game of the season, against the Bears, in Chicago. Seeing J. Love play was a thing of beauty. You could see that the time he spent on the bench watching Aaron was time well spent. If the Packers organization protects him with the best O-Line they can buy this team has an awesome future! - Dave in GB

Packers are very good at deciding when to draft quarterbacks and develop them. They are also very good at deciding when to get rid of quarterbacks so they can get maximum value for them. No other team in the nfl does this and they can all learn lessons from this.

I think the linebacking and the constant pressure on the QB were two huge factors. What I'm bummed out about are the numerous injuries GB is dealing with now after the game. Key guys probably won't be on the field in S.F.

I don't particularly enjoy hearing the statement that "Love looks a lot like Rodgers" etc... because I think it's important for Love to develop and look a lot like Love, although I understand when people talk about "the backfoot throw" and the "throwing with two feet in the air". But I will say, I remember in the early years of Rodgers when it just felt like we were going to score every time we got the ball. Never had to worry because Aaron Rodgers was commanding the Packers offense with Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings and a young Randall Cobb and all those guys you just knew they were gonna get points. I'm starting to get that same comforting feeling watching this Packers team play. Starting to not worry about "are we gonna get points" and thinking more about "what sick throw am I going to see this drive" which is really cool.

I don’t let sports, specifically the NFL, dictate my emotions, which is one of the reasons I abandoned watching it. As a Packers fan for decades, it was tough, but needed done. I would get so emotionally invested in the Pack, but by the end of the year would become so distraught. The past SEVERAL years really messed with me. We’d see Rodgers, an amazing QB, play a spectacular season, just to lose in many NFC CHAMPIONSHIP games. We’d hear stories like “Unexplainable how well the Pack are doing,” or “The Packers are making an unprecedented mark on football.” And then the following week, they blow a game and get totally demolished. It’ll be very tough for me not to watch them play the 49ers next game, but it is what it is. I wish them the best though.

I love my Packers. I will follow them until death. But I will admit that I completely wrote Jordan Love off. After seeing some of the throws he's made, I'm a believer. I thought maybe those crazy throws were a fluke. Everyone gets good ones every now and then. But he's done it every game, and not just one or two. Plus, they are perfect throws. Next to impossible throws. Go pack go!

I keep telling people, matter of fact I saw earlier how they said the way the niners played the packers they took Devonte away and they said now go ahead have at it! What the niners dont understand is this group of recievers as young as they are is better than the group of recievers Rodgers had minus Devonte. What the media is not telling people or not u nderstanding is that Dan Quin knew this because they literally changed from what they were doing all year playing man to man to playing zone! Niners fans are about to find out as well that these group of recievers are fast and extremely confident and dangerous! I didnt even mention the better o line and tight ends! You got Reed, Wicks, Watson and Doubs where anyone of them can get off in a blink and thats before you get to Melton and Tore 😮!

The Packers looked calm, loose and very confident in the Dallas game. Right from the beginning they punched Dallas in the face and that stunned the Cowboys they didn’t know what to do. The Packers were the aggressive team. In the playoffs you can’t wait for the game you have to take it. Packers took that game Dallas looked nervous and confused. The world thought the Packers were a one and done team in the playoffs but they had different plans of their own. It was an incredible game to see the young Packers team playing with heart and determination, they had their minds made up we are not going to lose this game. They willed themselves to win that game. I think they just got their old coach fired after that win. It’s going to be a crazy Saturday night game coming up over here in the Bay Area. Let’s do it!

I've been behind Love from the start, but I'm not willing to anoint him one of the top QB's in the league. Yet. He is without question in the top half. In all likelihood, top 10. But until I see him do it at this level for another season, it's premature to put him in the top 5.
