I'm considering flying to Oklahoma and giving this a shot. Harley Davidson was my last recreational sales job and Andrew has taught me so much. From tank levels, to height standards and so much more. This is an aberration. Most of the people living in these units never stay in the wilderness because they fear they will be attacked by someone. The worst thing is that they have a very low ground clearance which makes them worthless. Very impractical.

its not feesanle 99% of rvers do not own these. i go everytwhere and rarely see them. they actually cut out on alot of the places you can go in a much smaller one.

That brain and thumb typing cooperation thing. I apologize in advance. Plus, I like Prevost better) Couldn't put my finger on the look and feel but you nailed it. Make a great movie set makeup bus. Have never seen the squashed bed look with the slide in. Ours was only 40' and no rear slide and worked better than that. I show absolutely no jealousy and just glad there are folks that can still have these things and be able to upgrade and bear the depreciation hit of short time ownership. Out of over 200 vehicles of all types in over 40yrs have only owned owned one new one. Felt better at the time saving thousands but if past the warranty I hate to think and don't want to know how much we then spent on repairs. BUT we are not super millionaires. Just couple of poor southern country kids that have worked hard, wife more than me, as I've been out of the country a lot as military contractor while she ran family and business. Compared to our roots tho we are debt free billionaires. I do not brag, never have I just like high end high performance vehicles. It can all go sideways in an instant tho. Just a few weeks ago was driving wife's Mercedes GL550 on an errand for her and drove it instead of my Suburban. Probly saved my life when an oncoming car on a narrow 4 lane suddenly veered straight at me with both of us probly goin 50mph. That's over a hundred feet per second and combined closing speed of 100mph. Zero time to react but years of training in transporting high value clients as personal security The Mercedes, in Sport mode, responded so quickly that I missed the car by inches but it hit a small pickup beside me head on. That caused the rear of the car to come off the ground and took the entire right side of the Mercedes out up to a depth of 12 inches. Put me up on two wheels but didn't flip. However no air bags fired and I sustained side to side type whiplash. Recent spinal fusion now feels as if something is loose. Broke 4 front teeth off at halfway point. May not matter as I'm havin my 33rd surgery in a few weeks. This time on my left kidney, cancer already got the right one, to take out what might be my 4th cancer. I have been exposed to terrible things in over 40yrs of LE and contracting in several countries. There's more but I've done it again and wrote a mini novel of no interest to anyone but the last 6 to 8 weeks have about been the toughest I have had. Several more undeserved miracles. Ya'll take care, especially in any motorhome or coach. From medic point of view they seemed to be constructed as if they will never travel down a highway or interstate at speeds up to 80mph at least. All those sharp edges and unsecured furniture become a nightmare in any type of crash but especially roll overs. I've worked quite a few of those over the years and you can imagine some of the injuries and worse. Will the industry ever change? Nope. Because buyers don't want change and builders are covered by traffic laws against moving around unrestrained in a moving RV. Even taking that nap he mentioned. It's just the way we humans operate. Until it happens to US then many become crusaders for change. Plus adding adequate safety equipment, air bags, onboard fire suppression, more escape methods would probly double the already crazy price tags. Life's a hoot sometimes. My sermon for today. Amen. The End. EDIT UPDATE: Finally proofread after seeing those likes, appreciate that. A good rule I don't always follow is proof everything on any device all emails, texts or these comments. Danger zone when it's pinging in your ears, can see it in your eyes. Especially a couple months after "simple" eye surgery but coming out of the surgical center blind in that eye. That'll make ya blood pressure up a bit but this is worse and dangerous to my eyes. So goes my whining but needed to do something like this so noticing that 3rd like.....Karma perhaps saving me again. BTW, we bought this house 40 years ago n no one mentioned the haunted part. We live in a paranormal playground. Not threatening, just....hard to describe. Came into mancave right before I started this. Had my back to door and heard something hit the steps behind. Pair of tweezers I keep in organizer on my bed had traveled maybe 10 feet and bounced off the stairs. After I retrieved them I took a knee to access my drug box/safe under my bed and noticed my tablet beside me on the bed THEN I saw my blood pressure monitor beside the head of my bed light up onit's own. Yeah, I'm gonna checkit. So ya'll take as much care as possible, pray your children or grandchildren never break your heart and if you think of it spare a thot for me for my kidney surgery early next month. Cancer may be back. #4. 33rd surgery all together. 17th time for general anaesthesia. Got bad feeling bout this one. Be leasd long winded comments tho. rick in Tennessee. 12:55am CST. @@mrrod3004 not a chance, these aren't built like typical RV's. Everything down the frame is custom built in house, and at the Newell facility they have coaches from the 80s still in very nice functioning condition. These things are built to incredible standards, and they're the epitome of quality. I was part of the crew to do the cut and buff on this exact coach. The labor they out into these is unmatched.

Not just materials, but also the appliances and technology in there! Living in that thing full time would be an upgrade to my flat.
