BLTV Highlights the big title fight between the undefeated 'Pretty Boy' Josh Kelly & the rugged brawler David Avanesyan. Kelly had a lot of hype leading up to this contest, but Avanesyan wasn't fazed by the occasion

Josh Kelly is a class geezer. I used to train where he currently trains. Ended up bumping into him (not too long after he booked the Avanesyan fight) and must of spoke to him anywhere between 30-60 minutes. He was just giving advice and spoke about life etc. thought to myself what a tip top bloke. wasn't until the next few times i went in to train he remembered my name said hello. Considering how busy he was and how much he was in the spotlight just showed to me how humble and down to earth he is. Proper geezer and i wish him all the best in his career.

@@murdock6450 Stop talking. This is the problem with boxing. Most fighters lose - esp. if they fight tough opposition. And then they learn from that loss and come back better - or, you know, just get a matchup that's better stylistically.

Glad you covered this fight! I’m a big Kelly fan, and he’s come back stronger since this fight. Kelly said he struggled a lot with his mental health around the time of the Ava fight, and now you can see his cardio is a lot more improved and he’s more calculated in his flashiness. I got high hopes for him even if his power isn’t ever gonna be on a Wilder level.

I wouldn't even call that showboating either. it's just a flow state style with a little bit of extra put on it, but his fundamentals and skill level match that. and this was a GOOD fight with both having their moments until he his corner threw the towel in. respect to both fighters, but where's the humbling part coming from?
