We went to Bona Vista, Newfoundland and did camping there. in the night it became really cold and found ourselves inside a cloud.

I don't know of anything more fulfilling than family camping in natural wilderness, detached from the daily grind. An abrupt plummet in dew-point can be the reason for the phenomenon captured in your video (my 2 cents only). You set up a great example by taking the electric car in NL. Cheers Ravish!!

thanks a lot for nice words. Yes, we have an extra tarp as well for rain protection, but it wasn't supposed to rain, and it was just a cloud, having the tarp would have the same result. the air was cold and was just full of moisture.

You have travelled so much and did camping a lot. I’m surprised why wouldn’t you purchased a better quality tent that doesn’t cause condensation during the night (better weather-proofing). And then, how come you guys didn’t check temperature in advance and got warm sleeping bags. I’ve done camping in 3-5 degree and trust me, a good sleeping bag makes a lot of difference.

We are bit skeptical about going to off the gird places due to vegetarian food. Can you advice how to find food for vegetarians as a traveller to far off places?

you can mostly find vegeterian food everywhere. you have to be flexible, with salads/soups. be prepared to cook yourself in rare situations
