It's the fact that Lloyd's heritage was publicly announced to the entirety of Ninjago and instead of sympathizing with the poor kid or trying to make sure he's cared for they treat him like he's already gonna become a villain and like everything his dad does is somehow his fault. Like, they have to realize that ostracizing him is a perfect way to make him want to take revenge, right? It's just them creating a self-fulfilling prophecy :( Series Lloyd too, he wasn't ostracized by the entirety of Ninjago but he still was abandoned by both of his parents and his uncle. Granted, Garmadon and Wu had no choice in the matter considering Garmadon was in the underworld and Wu had no idea about where Lloyd was, but Misako (Lloyd's mother) intentionally abandoned Lloyd at the school for evil children and went on a search for information on the prophecy on the green ninja, and then when he was expelled, didn't leave any contact information so Lloyd was essentially homeless as a 10 year old for at least 3-4 weeks, maybe more idk my memory is a bit hazy on the details. She literally could have come and checked up on him at any time and instead chose not to. Meanwhile, Wu, as soon as he meets Lloyd wandering around and performing "acts of evil," takes him in. Misako didn't even know where her child was and then had the audacity to come back into his life like nothing was wrong :( TL;DR, Lloyd in both the series and movie was punished because of his parents' actions

not to mention the fact that the ninjas didn't think about all that he went through when he was abandoned (in the series), because they knew he was at that school and that he didn't have any relatives present, and simply they hung him from a roof instead of taking him back to school or to his uncle, of course, without that drama the show wouldn't have happened, but it didn't hurt for them to have thought a little before acting like that with the poor boy

It's somewhat similar to the Ever After High show, the protagonist is the daughter of the Evil Queen but she's not evil, but everyone sees her as evil and EXPECTS her to be like her mother because if not, "poof"! That's why (DON'T JUDGE ME!!) I pair them together because of the similarities.
