This band should have had far more international recognition than they received. Some British professionals recognized the huge talent of this Dutch band fortunately, thus giving them the acclaim they deserve for being on the same level as Depeche Mode.

The only Dutch mountains I ever saw were at the beach and they all had perky peaks!!! I loved Holland in the 80's.

Ein Juwel der 80er und peng sah ich zuerst die Video Fassung. Später dann das noch bessere Mtv Video. Das war genau mein Ding. Genau wie andere Alternativ Bands. Aber es würde schnell absolut langweilig. Egal. In the Dutch Mountains ist Auf meiner privaten Die Lieder meines Lebens.

Está canción estaba incluida en un disco que adquirí hace 10 años y el disco era de varios artistas al genero electro new wave y desde ahí lo escuchaba, se me perdió el disco y lo vengo a encontrar aquí, oh gracias Internet por existir, aquí encontré todo el contenido del disco que ahora ya no está en mis manos. Nope, although the Netherlands has surprisingly many villages and towns with mountain(s) in their name: "Bergen" (not the one in Norway, but in the province of Limburg) = Mountains "Driebergen" & "Zevenbergen" = Three mountains & Seven mountains "Bergen op Zoom" = Mountains on/near a swamp (of which the last part there are/were many of in NL :P) "Bergen aan Zee" = Mountains near the sea (possibly refering to the dunes near the sea) "Berghuizen" = Mountain houses "Berg en dal" = Mountain and valley "Berg aan de Maas" = Mountain near the Meuse (which actually makes some sense, due to the "Sint Pietersberg" hill near "Maastricht" and the river Meuse, but I don't think it should be called a mountain. I'd rather refer to it as quite a sizeable hill than an inferior mountain, right?) and there are probably some that I forgot, but this is just a taste of places called after something we don't really have in the Netherlands ;-).

I agree, but if every band is up to the top ten, what´s left for the real music connoisseur? There are many very good bands that only a few people know, especially from the Netherlands (e.g. Racoon etc.). Anyone remember Gruppo Sportivo?
