A little time-travel with some altered universe to release your mind. Original songs, Nitty Gritty by Shirley Ellis and Someone That I Used to Know by Gotye. In 1964, the Judy Garland Show featured choreographer Bobby Banas dancing to the Nitty Gritty and in 2024 CDK Dance Company features a platoon of dancers (all listed here • CDK - Somebody That I ... ) in an amazing piece of choreography. that's Bobby Banas, you can google him. He actually did the choreography for this dance. ❤

I literally JUST SAID THIS LAST NIGHT!!! We watched the 'Used to Know' group dance and I said that looks like it could be the son/grandson of the Nitty Gritty choreographer... and YOU DID IT! Thank you for sharing that story! I saw it in my head while watching Nitty Gritty! When I laid them together, the match was SPOT ON! The rest is the universe whispering in my ear. Let me know if you have any more crossover/mash ups you would like me to try!! So much fun when really works! The Universe is ALWAYS LISTENING to your wishes and thoughts.
