baba is the man. a guy who truly loves what he does. he's not an overpaid actor, or athlete, or some famous-for-no-reason little priss. he's a regular dude who through a fluke of the internet became a sensation, but he's still the same guy who loves his job. more people need to be like him.

I think he became famous thanks to Nomadbarber. I saw Baba purely by accident when I just had nice beard trim adn started looking for videos of how barbershops work in ore exotic places like Italy, Turkey...and then I saw Baba. I had such joy looking at his performance, gave me pleasant chills.

Seeing these videos about Baba, especially this interview with him, is really what KZfaq is all about and should be. This man, who owns a small barber shop in India, is now recognized to the World. He doesn't ask for fame, he just does his job, people film his unique style and worldwide viewers are drawn to him. These are the types of videos that KZfaq needs. I mean, every country has a barber shop, but then we see a different take of what a barber does. Now I wish for a similar type of barber here in Vancouver. Alas, I know there isn't but there is this one barber over in India, that aligns and soothes your Chakras. Makes him sound like a legend.

Having watched Baba's videos for a decade now, and coming back to watch this, it hits home so hard that he's passed. Many a night I've fallen to sleep listening to him (and the blaring horns). Forever thankful for the comfort he's given.

Time just stands still around this guy. There's something so honest about this fellow, being so great at what he does, in pure authenticity. Not exactly understanding what KZfaq is about probably only amplifies this beauty. All in his own special world, the individual at his best. A connection to himself, in the most simple, innocent, and artistic way possible. Maybe the closest thing to complete inner peace ever found, and something so rarely experienced in this age of judgement and destruction of the individual.

That Guy Don't know how to interpret that, but oh well. I just like to be as honest and as precise as I can in explaining what I feel, and that might look pretentious or something to some people. And yes, it can be quite exhausting, because most people don't give a shit and kinda throw words and insults around randomly, while I'm the guy getting lost in his own moral concepts and precision. Really, it takes time, and gets the focus away from just having fun and doing what you love. That's what I admire from that barber guy. He just does stuff.

I remember on the initial video, I commented wondering if the video did anything for Baba. Watching this video, I'm happy to hear that he's doing well, that the video has helped him make plenty of more customers, and that he's able to laugh at himself and doesn't mind if others laugh. My grandmother tried putting the bible in my head. My mother dragged me to church every week. And I felt nothing. Except maybe judgment and fear. But I watch Baba and get waves of tingles all over and nearly put into a trance. I find myself in such a good mood afterwards. I don't know what's real anymore.

Born and brought up in India and I have seen things I shouldn't have seen.Dad a Hindu and being in the army and mum a catholic was chaos for sunday worship and a grandmum wanting to make sure I prayed.I found sanity in Byron,keats,shelly,wordsworth in an Irish school and finally took the high road to Middle Earth,New Zealand where I found Peace.You tube connects me to the madness of India which I miss dearly and when I come across videos such as this guy....This guy could just be a quack or he could be someone really genuine who loves his job and likes to serve people and provide happiness.I'll make my trip to India and visit this guy for sure.-Stay Classy Baba....

Living abroad for 2 years...the face the interviewer is making most of the video while the cosmic barber is talking: blank eyes, awkward smile, trying to make sense of what the man is saying as if they are both have a real conversation with no walls to understanding. I so don't miss that feeling.

I've been a Baba fan since the beginning and have followed each and every video when they've arrived. Big props to the original video (which started the journey) and each of the people who made the pilgrimage. Sometimes I think it's amazing that we live in 'civilised' society, yet poorer people in other countries are bi or even multilingual. Yet in the US or the UK, a high percentage of people can't even speak their mother tongue properly. Baba lives in Pushkar in India, a place that is pretty poor; yet he can speak english well enough to be understood.

***** You get that information from where? English is the most common language, but is not official. An official language is the language chosen by each country. There is no official 'world' language. English is usually used between different cultures because it is the most widely used. The only place English is an official language is the US (although you couldn't really call it english most of the time). England technically doesn't have an official language, as it's a given what we speak.

I honestly don't think that television would be right for him. KZfaq exposure is plenty, I like to see him in this sort of pure light, where he is not being exposed to this huge popular media outlet, at least in his eyes, such as a talk show.

I love this guy, whether the chakra thing is true or not it makes people feel very positive and elicits asmr so who cares if its real or not? Must admit I laughed when he said "I dont know what this youtube is but I love youtube!"
