how tall are you cuz if u can stand u straight is a big Upgrade for this type of tent video was very derailed exactly what i needed to insure my purchase 💪🔥

Really helpful video. Thanks! I would love to also see how many guy out points there are, and how high up they are, and how well reinforced the tent is at that point. I try to get the sites by the water, which means I eat some big storms on the chin sometimes.

Same! Most of our sites are right off rivers and lakes. The tents held up pretty well on our last trip, however we'll do an update soon.

Great video! You said that you will use a footprint. Another thing that I do is to put a tarp on the inside of the tent the full width and length. That way in case someone spills something or the general dirt that gets in there it’s easy to take out and shake out. Just an idea!!! Cool video!!

Definitely a solid idea! We're big on no food and drinks (besides water) in the tents. However, the dirt build up is REAL.

I do the same with my Wawona 8. I picked up a canvas tarp on Amazon for about $20 and use it on the inside floor. It adds another whole level of comfort and as you mentioned....just fold it up carefully and shake it out outside. Keeps the tent nice and clean and protects the floor.

Looking at your old videos love your style. Wish i could edit like that. Also love yall mission getting more ppl out enjoying nature. Me and my buddy do backpacking trips every year in the white mtn national forest. Beautiful area where you can just pick a trail hike to the middle of no where and camp.

@wildbigcamp8422 ya they have established campgrounds, sites you hike out to with camp sites, or you can rough it with nothing. They have a few cabins too some you hike to. Lots of fun. Last time we went, was to sawyer pond. 1.5mile hike had a toilet(ish) and tent platforms as well as a shelter if you didn't want to bring a tent. Great views

Great review thanks! Man does Northface put the most drab boring ugly a- “pastel” color combos on these Wawona tents, both the ugly lime grey and the ugly orange color schemes. Hideous. Only their super expensive expedition tents like the domes have proper bright nice orange/yellow/white colors.

Actually I find the sage green and light yellow to be pleasing to the eye. It blends well in the woods and looks more a part of the natural surroundings that a blaring bright ass color in the woods.

Trash tent, would recommend nemo aurora highrise 4p. Easier to open and close, more ventilation because of vespulas

Hardly a trash tent. North Face tents are a quality product. I notice in the reviews on the Aurora some quality control issues...one mentioning the corner where the tie out is ripped completely off of the tent while trying to affix it to the pole. Also, reviews indicate that condensation is a problem. Even reviews that gave it 4 stars mention weak corners and some leaking at the corners during rain and missing clips on the inner tent. Quality control issues for sure. I guess it is all in the eyes of the beholder.

@@Bukpeshk I have the Wawona 8 and have never had a problem with condensation. I also own the Stormbreak 2 for bikepacking and love it. Again, no issues with condensation but have not had either out in the cold. That is not to say that in the right conditions you could get condensation. I like the looks and layout of the Aurora and was looking hard at it but after doing research I became leary after reading a lot of QC issues and consistently negative comments on the strength of the corners. Hopefully they will address this issue because it is a unique and nice looking tent.
