One thing you are leaving out, over time, monitors change settings. Hence, it is imperative to calibrate your monitor after some time of use. Also, you can not trust the reports given by the manufacturers 100% as things are not always performed perfectly at the factory level unless you buying a Flangers Scientific, which costs 1000's of dollars. This is a good monitor. But, it still needs to be calibrated to get optimal use if your are a colorist, editor or work in print.

I wanna buy this model but the 24 inch one. In what mode or setting should I colour grade? Rec709 or adobe srgb?

Would you go for 4K or QHD on a 27 inch monitor? I'm not sure if Lightroom can handle the windows scaling to 150 % or so and whether it affects sharpness or not. Don't want to end up with tiny font and sliders in Lightroom (they're already very small).

Hi , just got this monitor to edit with Lightroom. Can I leave in standard ? or do I have to put it in RGB and calibrated. Standard color seem perfect. out of the box RGB setting without calibration is dull and dark and I do not have a calibrator. thx for the help

did you solve your problem? :) I had the same when I first used it, all my photos were too dark. But then I printed them at a professional shop and I knew why the monitor showed me the colors too dark, all my photos should have been brighter, with more contrast.

i just brought the asus pro art 279cv which i have plugged into a power mac by hdmi cable,, its only showing up in monitor preferences as 1080 monitor with no higher resolution selection options ? am i doing something wrong of i have i brought a monitor that is beyond the range of my mac,, my previous asus monitor which died a week ago was qhd and the higher res options where detected by the computer but this just seems to be a big question mark when i go to preferences on my mac ?

I'm not sure which graphics card your Mac Pro has. If it has a DisplayPort or DVI dual-link connection, use that. If you're using a DVI to HDMI cable, you may be using a cable that only supports DVI single-link.

I have an Asus Pro Art 278QV. However, the whitebalance seems to be a little bit too warm. Is this normal? Did you experience the same "issue"?

Hello, I have an iMac 27 5k (Radeon Pro 580 8 GB) and a Macbook Pro 14 m1 and I'm thinking of this ASUS ProArt PA27AC monitor to work at home connected to the Macbook Pro 14 m1 and I don't know if there would be many differences in colors It is one of those things that is difficult to know until you see it in situ, what is your opinion? Thank you

i have been grinding for 120 subs for 3 years now and wanted to know from a successful south african if there is any editing software i can use with minimum 2 gb ram i have a laptop 3 year old now and love editing but i cant preview my videos unless i export it

I noticed recently that I get more colour accuracy from USB C from my mac to HDMI on the monitor. The USB C to USB C gives me a slightly different colour. Not sure why.
