The O'jays were a phenomenal group, extremely talented and could just plain throw down. I saw them in person a number of times and they were never ever disappointing! They could (and still can)actually sing and harmonize with or without music. I loved them back then and I still do. Eddie was one of the best and should be recognized as such, but all of them made the group one of the best!❤

Stirred me up as a 9 year old in 1972. Lawd, Mr. Eddie sang the hot sauce off that song! Still does in spite of everything he’s been through. Things hit differently when you go through things. My goodness. The beauty of the 70’s was we had great music, and great times. Cherish the memories.❤

The OJays performed this song at the Hammersmith Odeon in 73, it was amazing and brought the house down. Looking forward to hearing it again!

its a shame that this performance isnt live like the Hammersmith one, but still a great performance. (although i must admit the long 10 minute live Hammersmith one is probably the best and my favorite). nothing beats a live performance of a song!
