Never heard of this Bill Heidrick before, but he seems to know his stuff. The Oath of the Abyss is for those who have examined their life, inner thoughts, dreams and fears, "traveled" up the Tree of Life, been through Tiphareth, have conversed with their "Holy Guardian Angel", and are thus ready to cross the Abyss. The ready candidate knows that every thing is a message of Love from the Supreme Source, the presumptuous candidate will have to struggle mightily to maintain their sanity. Peace, 93 and One Love.

He makes the metaphor however that it is more akin to a "lawsuit" between the mind and the no-mind. The mind fighting for it's egotistical existence; while the no-mind...well...never mind.

This happens to me a lot, but I've never took an oath like this. Someone I barely know might make a random comment that somehow is right on the money, how did they know? They didn't, but someone is leading me through them. strange coincidence like road signs guiding you...maybe I'm too aware. Its like a yellow brick road right in my face.

I think your assessment of Parsons is bang on...he tried to remake himself as some kind of "dark wizard", only to be betrayed, stolen from...and then exploded in his own back yard. I believe in part of this without ever hearing of the oath of the abyss. I won’t take everything as a sign though because I don’t want to. Especially because I was possessed at one point and the spirit possessing me took everything the wrong way.

no watchers? no angels? no more evolved beings to this reality? the oath is to be alone? with God? I've experienced this I think. though I have a common bond with a twin sister that keeps us guiding each other towards something. hard to explain. meditation I go to no thought where I guess it's just me and the divine. I'm not sure what energy this is. I call it the rain. Help is the only real word I use. I ask for nothing. help occasionally. an oath to yourself I get but why? an oath to a group I'm not sure I get it but it seems like an initiation into something I don't know about. I don't know anyone that has had the same experiences as I and my twin have had. delusion. hallucinations. imagination. altered states of being. various points of view for me to use I think. tools. anyways. seems different.
