The #1 thing I’ll always take away from this story is how many times, even the enemies of God, still petition things to him.. I am convinced God is so good that he hears all petitions and if it is not against his ways or he sees it justified... he does it.. over and over humans petition or bargain with God..he truly is the most pure form of judgment and fairness

One other thing that I see from the story, is that the pigs, being regarded as the filthiest animal, would rather drown than have a demon inside it.

knowing that in the presence of Jesus, the demon couldn't just go inside the pig on its own but had to petition and needed permission from Jesus.. now that is powerful, teaches us about the divine mercy of God who hears the cries and petitions even from the devil and we are made in his own image and likeness and yet we go astray and yet he never lets go of us.. hallelujah to our good Lord

When l was mowing the lawn one day almost 4 years ago, l felt a CONVICTION od sin inn my HEART that l had never felt before. l realized how VILE of a sinner l was! Thank You Jesus for caring for me, such an urchin. :)

Even The legion of demons knew what was waiting for them in eternity if jesus didnt cast them into the pigs.. even the demons themselves are scared of hell and didnt want to be tormented for eternity. They asked to buy them time before the day of judgment comes That alone should be a reason to us humans that we should get close to god and repent from our sins so that way we dont find ourselves in the place that not even demons want to go to. Jesus have mercy on our souls! Praise the one and only god amen 🙏

I have seen demons come out of people. They don’t go so easy for us. Many Holy Spirit filled people were working on getting demons out of a man for hours. I have been witness to this. Yet Christ just said go. That’s power.

It's truly amazing to think that all of this is real, and that the most high is with us, and how wonderful and powerful jesus is. It's all so overwhelming and great.

How God intervenes in our lives is simply awe inspiring. At age six is the first time I went to a Sunday School class and heard about the story of Jesus. I wasn’t aware of the impression the story made upon me but that night I went to bed and must have dreamed the story again. I was told the next morning that I walked in my sleep during the night and I crouched down looking under a bed, I was asked, ‘What are you doing?” I was told that I responded, ‘I am looking for Jesus.” Fast forward a few months and I was adopted and moved to the south, right in the middle of the Bible Belt. My Christian mother took me to church regularly and at the age of nine I professed him as my Lord.

O Divine Creator, As the sun rises and fills the sky with light, I come before you with gratitude in my heart. Grant me the strength and wisdom to face the day ahead, Guide my steps and fill my soul with your love. May my actions be aligned with your will, And may I be a beacon of kindness and compassion. I first felt the presence of God as a teenager. He started talking to me during lunchtime. I was 15 and thought I was going crazy!😊

My takeaway from this story is .. That God is merciful even to demons.. How much so that he also would forgive us of our sins if we come to him with a repentant ❤️ heart. We serve a mighty God.. who does not wish that any would perish.. but that all comes to repentance

I was 5 yo when I saw a bunch of devils descending from a cloud of smoke and fire right in front of me. I was scared and I screamed calling on God to help me but I fainted. My mother tried to pick me up but I was too heavy. She asked me what was going on but I spoke another language so she could not understand. Immediately she said the Lord's Prayer and I was released and fell a sleep, deep, deep sleep. In the morning I told my family what I saw. "No wonder"' my mother said "this is why cattle, sheep and poultry were dead outside the farmhouse fence". Even bears died, foxes and wolves have been found dead in the nearby forest. Farmyard animals were safe. A christian priest came there earlier that day and blessed the family, the house and everything that was in the yard at this point in time. I believe that this took place on the All Souls Day. Later, after many years people were digging in the same spot and found skeletons of about 20 killed soldiers from one of the previous wars that have not been documented and buried in a proper christian way.

The tormentors were in fear of being tormented by Jesus. ❤

Jesus I need you in my life everyday. I pray everyday that you keep me humble as I have to work everyday just to make a living in this world, with no desire to be a rich man . I can't do it without you. Amen .

I was in the city of Gainesville Florida when the university of Florida was under attack, someone was killing students and mutilated them , during the time I worked at mall getting off early one night I took a shortcut home no lights no house in sight,I am on a bike on the wrong side of the road facing oncoming traffic, this car slowly passed me long cardboard boxes in see God was getting my on him I said to myself you get a body in those boxes,he pulls over gets out and is coming to me with no fear ,as he,s getting near he says,I got me another one and said Jesus in faith I called him,and answered look him dead in his eyes and don't say nothing,and did just what he said, the man froze and couldn't move and never peddled a bike in my life I made it to a small circle of homes and got under a car he just sat there he didn't know where I was,he left,way before this I had tested the power in the mighty name of Jesus amen

Great explanation on this passage from Holy Scripture often never with such depth.

I first encountered the presence of God after I had sinned to PMO. I was about 15 and that was the first time i genuinely repented of my sins. God turned that sin to an outcome of good because I ended making a promise to God, that even though I commited adultry in my heart despite what all my friends were doing, I told God will never have physical adultetry/sex outside of marriage like He's said. Till this day I am 20 by the grace of God I am still a virgin and keeping to that promise till the day pf marriage and growing in the Lord and the Lord has broken all bondages to PMO and lust. Glory be to God.

Jesus’ heart was so peaceful and loving, He took pity on demons. That is an amount of love humans will never understand. Although He probably knew they would end up in the abyss anyway because the herd would rather drown than have those wretched creatures inside of them. That is a love we cannot comprehend. God took pity on Jezebel... JEZEBEL! The same woman that had Israel worshipping baal, practicing witchcraft, and sent henchmen after His Prophets because she hated Him. He gave her all kinds of time to repent and even warned her of how she would die. I am sure He was probably in her head trying to get her to change. She wouldn't and she died how He said. He is The God that these children and adults and lgbtq are mocking and laughing at. Still He loves them. He needs to light up the sky now and it be Him and not some government bs. He should make all those knees bend. We need HIM NOW.

I felt the presents of God when I first got baptized

It was a move and counter. Satan wanted to be chased from this region. So the people asked Jesus to leave. Which means no gospel preached. Jesus left having planted a strong testimony. The healed man. So the gospel was still preached in this region by the healed man.

Even the demons are scared of the name Jesus. Yet nowadays, humans have no regard for our creator, still giving us chance after chance after chance. It simply shows how vile humans have become, we don't deserve any of His mercy yet He's still protecting us and waiting for us to repent and come back ❤

There’s another message in those gospel passages. The demons knew who Jesus was, the savior, the son of God. The demons stated such. The message is that one cannot just say “Lord”. For salvation, one must follow Jesus’ instructions.
