well done nate. I have to vent guys, because there are more negative comments about this GG open than a peak Logan Paul video, not here on this vid that Nate posted but on GGs channel. I think they put on a FANTASTIC PRODUCT but literally there’s a 50/50 split of positive and negative comments, some even said they were done with GG because its gotten too commercial. What did you want them to do, stick to 3 v 3 scrambles and wheel of not ideals for 50 years? These are dudes in their 20s, they have big aspirations in life, i say turn them loose and create the next big thing. I think for a youtube channel with just over a mil subs and only 3 years old, this was a remarkable production. Remember guys in the realm of big network tv like what NBC(peacock) is, good good would be limited what they could do for the budget they have, and I think it was fantastic. I for one was pleased by the amount of golf shots we saw, the minimal commercials there was and the amount of NBC golf overlays, features we saw. There were alot of negative comments about a few things and I’d like to address them. I heard alot of people complain about the broadcasters. 1st off you must not watch alot of PGA golf because George Savaricas and Andres Gonzalez cover alot of golf during the season and do well. Alot of people didn’t like how they were “ribbing” and teasing the good good players but it was obviously in good fun and I’m sure the good good guys told them to do that for entertainment purposes. Do half of you not have a sense of humor? Frances and Riggs added a nice humorous vibe to it too. Lots of negative comments about the lack of players seen. Guess what if you watch PGA or LIV golf, they typically only cover 10-12 golfers a broadcast because of lack of camera bodies, logistics etc. I was impressed good good was able to achieve something similar today and they even had a few “dummy” cameras set up on key spots to get highlights etc. Again it would be impossible to show everyone’s shots. If the PGA tour which has been the largest provider for golf for decades and LIV which has billions of dollars pumped into it can’t GG sure as hell can’t either. Lots of people hated the 14 hole primarily par 3 setup. Guess what, it goes back to a lack of budget. If they implemented an 18 hole par 72 7000 yd course, do you realize how many more cameras and how much harder it would be logically? Also some of the players who are awful at golf would get frustrated and pissed and pace of play would be trash. Hell it took like 4 hours to play 3000 yards tonight, no one wants to watch an 8 hour round. I hope you can see the logic in my statements above which sadly 50% of people anymore don’t utilize logic in their thinking. I hope like hell this doesn’t negatively effect GG’s longevity. I think this tournament went off incredibly well and the future ones will hopefully be awesome too.

I was watching this on the east coast, so I had to stay up till 1:30 in the morning, and I could not have been more pleased with the product that Good Good and Peacock presented. Whatched your last vlog(no offense but I generally do not enjoy vlog style content) however you bring up great points regarding your behind the scenes content. Seems like you are walking a fine line in what and how is exactly behind the scenes? That seems to be the essence of the YT golf experience. Its very nature is behind the scenes. I think that is what I was struggling with the Live YT coverage, it was trying to be something its not. Trying to capture the essence of YT with the PGA aspect. YT golf is able to condense a round of golf to around 55 minutes to 1:15. Keeping the round lively and full of the participants personalities. A live event has to much down time in between shots that has to be filled with commentary. I think what GG tried to do with there 2 live test runs is more what a live event should be. Live cart cams in every cart. On course live cameras walking with groups. This may not be possible logistically or financially. Don’t know. But I think that is what people on YT want. Whether it works or not Love the way content is formulated on the existing channel’s. Keep posting ❤

Unsure how they failed big time, whilst streaming on YT they hit over 100k viewers. Name another YT channel without looking pulling those numbers on a Wednesday night for a golf tournament? In short, it's no one. Yes YT made the event, but they've also partnered with NBC Sports and part of that is going to involve TV and Streaming opportunities. It's the first time anyone's tried this, only a POS would bash it ignorantly as a whole based on a few things that they couldn't necessarily control. That said, Francis is kind of annoying, but the Barstool contingent involved in this were overall a solid and hilarious addition. Trent/Frankie were a highlight without question. Pumping up the crowd and having fun. Dan got 2nd, in case you hadn't checked. I don't think anyone had a Foreplay guy posting 2nd lowest in this or any tournament coming into it. And Riggs was hilarious on his call with the final/feature group. Kick rocks, get lost, or go back to boring traditional golf if you can't respect what these dudes put together in a very short period of time. They advertised the GG Midwest Open in June, at a legit full length course, they'll get better.

@morantrent67 i agree with the rest of the barstool comments. They were great. Francis was a pos period. I get that nbc is putting this on but still should've been streamed on KZfaq and peacock. Good good is KZfaq. KZfaq community made them. It was a good event coverage could of been better. Hope the next one is better.

Where did it come about last night that Peacock was a surprise. They do plenty on YT. Like everyone they have a number of different revenue streams. That you don’t have one of them which cost 6 dollars isn’t their fault.

Exactly. I fell for the comments on the YT feed last night too at first and then realized it was just a few kids trolling. Probably mostly BDS supporters who haven’t liked the negativity they’ve faced for big timing the event.

A compromise was made to get the viewing experience of network television. It was a stepping stone. I am with you on Francis, he just isn't it.

DONT NASCAR KZfaq GOLF TOO. the whole reason that people are watching these influencers is youtube. I get youtube with my phone subscription. If that stops i wont be watching these influencers at all. Dont put these tournaments on a service that requires a a monthly payment or tv provider. Like peacock im not subscribing for one day. Or ever. You will lose the majority of your viewers. Just call yourself liv golf and become unwatchable.
