this wasn't a major update......it'd pretty much minor stuff, give us some better battery optimizations so we can fully use our 1200 plus phone to the full extent, I have to turn 120 hz off to get any decent battery life out of this piece of shit, I should have kept my iPhone 13 pro max, that thing lasted kept 2 WHOLE days and at like 12 at night I was at 10 percent.....phenomenal battery

@Afrolint ln I say major update cause of this many listed stuff that was getting updates. Was a list of list of long list of many things updated when I got the notification. So too me and many others...it's a major update 🤷🏿‍♂️👏🏿👌🏿

Awesome informative video as always, Karan. Kudos to ur work. 🙂 I would like to add a couple of things that I've noticed after the update on my S22 Ultra. I miss the Quick Panel button for Bixby Routines which I used to reactivate a routine if I had stopped it for any reason & also to go to routines easily by pressing & holding that button. Now, I've to go to settings to get to that. 😔 The exact shape thing that you talked about also works in any place you draw shapes either with your fingers or your s-pen like in notes or even lock screen notes. 🙂

I always watch your video. The way you present really excellent, like it. I noticed on my S22ultra after getting October's update it eats lot battery, it was better when Samsung made update on September, don't know why they did this.

This is what i notice with every new major sotftwaere upgrade tho. It decreases batt life.. always.. from my s6 to s8 to note 10.. i havent updated my s22 yet.. pls let me know if it gets any better. I would appreciate it. Thanks!

@@mobiscrub thats what I find odd is people getting good battery life with the s22 ultra, I'm at home alot these days and with having kids, more often than not I'm watching shows on my phone instead of the tv, I'll usually unplug at 8 in the morning and at around 3 to 4 I'm having to charge again, and the majority of the time is on KZfaq, and other streaming services, I have 1 game on my phone, it's pubg and I'll play that maybe 30 minutes to an hour a day, I have the screen set to max on full 120 hz, I also have all of my non important apps in deep sleep, I paid 1200 dollars for this thing and the fact that I can't get a full day of battery is ridiculous, I had a 13 pro max and that thing would last me a whole day and then some the next

A hard reset is recommended after any Android major(version) update, will fix all battery and heat issue, take a backup before resetting

@@MrAyazgovani I think there will be quite a bit in Good Lock though (If it's in your region) I think they are adding a section for camera features like dont have to wait for the snap and take instant pictures with no wait time.

Can't wait to try One UI 5 when they available in my country, I have S22 snapdragon variant and hopefully it will get update faster at least earlier next month, I can see that I will use a lot of these new features like extract text, perfect shapes and automation routine when I got this update 😁

it's not a core feature of one ui 5, hence, didn't include it. Also, good lock is not available on all phones and in all regions.

@Sumit Bindal It's a part of Samsung's panel and let you choose the size of comment you'd like with one click. The way you want I guess it can be done by taking screenshot and then from your screenshot you can extract text. With rectangle is much easier for me. It would be cool if you could extract directly without screenshots anything you'd want just by selecting whatever you want!

Reaching out to my favourite mobile KZfaqr and/or anyone else who may be able to help with these Android 13 annoyances... 1) Notification size. First off don't say Settings>Display>Font size & style as that is *not* the answer. The notification size is huge on this update compared to Android 12. I tried the above and sure it reduces text size but the notification bubble is still large, the app icon in the notification is still large. Is there a way to get the whole notification small like Android 12? 2) Whatsapp - send file. In Android 12, to send a photo I just took or even a screenshot, I would hit paperclip, hit gallery & then select the album & then the photo/video. Not now in Android 13. Now I have to hit paperclip, hit gallery - but this now only brings up Whatsapp related albums. To send say a photo I just took, I have to then hit the 3 dots top right, choose gallery from the menu that appears and then FINALLY I see a list of albums such as camera and screenshots. How to change it back to what it used to be like? For the above two, my wife also experiences these issues so I know it's not just me. For the next one she said her experience isn't so bad... 3) Accidental touch. Since the update I've had to turn mine off. It's way way way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over sensitive. I would swipe up (which is annoying - what was wrong with swiping right?) and then go to hit the fingerprint but it would lock again. I would need to restart the phone. Very annoying. I've fixed it by turning it off, which isn't really a fix but still.

No, you cannot manually download it because it is not available. Each phone gets its own version. So if you download the version for some other phone and try to install it, it could brick your phone. Not worth the hassle
