As a Buckeye fan- I don’t think I have ever seen this amount of talent on one team. I think if Day can help to iron out some of the weak points on the OL & make sure chemistry is good this team could be unbeatable

Excellent point, @rephillips56. Special Teams is a glaring need right now. The kicking and receiving performance was…by far…the worst deficit on the team this past year. I’m glad they parted ways with Parker Fleming. I hope things gel well on the O-line this coming season.

I'm a big Air Noland fan. Sayin is great as well. I'm torn like everyone. But lean towards Air. I think Day has an ability to identify talent. But then again, Sayin was his first pick who chose Bama so day had to scramble and pick up Air. We will see. But the future is very bright.

Noland could be special but Julian Sayin is 5 stars in every single recruiting source. He had over 70% completion percentage in a competitive California high school division He won the elite 11 He’s ELITE ELITE lol Noland will have his chance to fight for the top spot. It will be a tough battle for him

Great breakdown, excellent video. The last time I can recall the expectations / hype / talent being this high for Ohio State is the 1998, 2006, and 2015 seasons. As a Buckeye fan, I cringe when I think of how all those seasons played out...hopefully, it won't be a repeat of those disappointing seasons this year...

I could almost see Noland getting the nod, but Sayin want to get that Ryan Day QB shine before transferring out a la Penix. We'll miss whoever leaves, that's for sure! The way Jeremiah Smith moves reminds me a bit of Terelle Pryor had he had the luck to go through football as a receiver. Always appreciate your faith testimony, Peace BE with you!

At first I was mad that we took Sayin after having Air Nolan, but both are freshmen. They’re going to need time to pick up the offense and get the feel for the D1 college game. This will work out in the end. Go Bucks!

Bro its crazy but the twins! We needed them for our future. All of the O line guys add them and peoples lets go! I also believe Air will be our QB. Hes already said hes staying and fighting. best ohio state receiver to date was Chris Carter. after that its a long list of players like David Boston, Devin Smith, Ted Ginn jr, MHJ, Micheal Thomas, Joey Galloway, Terry Mclauren, Santonio Holmes, Terry Glenn, Micheal Jenkins, Brian Hartline ( now a great coach), Jalin Marshall, Keith Byars. Not to mention the qb's who were starting wr's in their own right Braxton Miller and Terrell Pryor. Best is Carter though. if you dont believe me then search for the video where Keyshawn Johnson and Chris Carter have a one handed catching competition.

Well, it’s been a month since you did this video, and the reports coming out of the quarterback room at Ohio State is that Julian sayin is right now on top, because of his ability to stand at the whiteboard or stand in front of the video break everything down, and from an academic standpoint, is calling out, plays pre-snap on the level of a junior or a senior.

Didn't he win the elite 11, so did CJ Stroud. If anyone hits the portal it's Brown and Kienholz. I'm worried about Howard, he has an almost 50% TD to INT ratio, so Brown may be useful yet, even so, Brown hasn't impressed me yet, he can't stay healthy.

I think our defense will be the key to the team this year ( Downs, Sawyer, JT, Burke, Styles, etc etc ) Howard doesn’t need to be CJ Stroud But if he does have a lot of INTs early …. Sayin will probably start That said I think Howard will be a great starter for us and he’ll develop into a first round pick with Day & O’Brien

I agree, defense wins championships, offense wins games, and our team since 2020 is proof that even with a great offense, we fell short. Then, in 2023, having a great defense, we fell short, lacking offense. This year, I'm hoping we get it all together. Team wise, we're a much better team this year.

We're going to be ready this year as we've been ready every year.. But this is going to be a special season.. My fear is, all the top players we have.. Are they going to be willing to wait to get in the field. Especially at QB. My gosh.. And they'll be put to the test with the new teams coming to the Big 10... Let's go Buckeyes

According to ESPN 300 Justin Sayin is in a tie for the highest 5 star grade at (91) among Dual Threat QBs. Air Noland comes in at #3 among Pocket Passers with 4 stars and a grade of 85.

All indications are that Sayin is ahead at this point. He took the 2nd most reps at the spring game and Ryan Day said he is still in the mix for the starting QB job.

tosu is winning the natty every year for the foreseeable future. they can pay the players more then any other school other then maybe, MAYBE texas. Huge alumni base, largest fanbase, most money to shop with in NIL. Also the coaching staff is ridiculously stacked.

And yet I think they're a slight dog @ Oregon -- which is also freakin loaded. That should be a seriously entertaining game. I like Oregon's O-line and QB in that matchup. Oregon's WR room is up near OSU's, with Tez Johnson and Evan Stewart. Jordan James and Noah Whittington make for a real handful at RB. In the 2024 class, Oregon picked up 21 four-stars, likely to end up at 22.

Their defense is what is going to be scary. Sawyer, JT, Williams on the Dline. And adding Caleb Downs with Denzel Burke, Lathan Ransom, Ignawouso, and Jordan Hancock. They have the Best Dline and secondary in the nation.

Great work as usual! Thank you! With respect to the QB battle, I know I am in the minority but I have Air Nolan winning this one. Air not only has great athleticism, touch and accuracy, the man's most formidable feature is his brain. Incredibly intelligent and with a constant drive to learn and improve, Air leaves extremely little to be desired from a top-tier QB. Let's see how they do in the Spring Game, but as of now, I think Air is the top QB in 2024. The most underrated player I am exited to see? CB/S Miles Lockhart. Man that dude can play.

I'm not sold that Will Howard will be good enough to put the offense "break college football" territory, but it should be very good. Backup QB has been an issue lately too, and with everyone expecting more QB run, along with a longer season, that could end up pretty relevant too. Tons of talent in that QB room but nobody who has accomplished anything at college. OL needs to prove that they are better than they showed last year, too, especially on that right side. I'd still look to see if OSU adds another tackle in the 2nd portal window.

Unfortunately McCord was not the answer this past year despite trying to use the Georgia Stetson Bennett game manager approach. The 2024 Buckeyes will win the new 12 team playoff so long as they get their offensive line up to par and get a level up at QB play which they absolutely should. O-H...

No. OSU develops players. Michigan cheats. That's how they won the last few years. Look before they hired Stallions. As soon as he started, it changed. It's pretty obvious.

Air Noland. They're not that far apart. We were first choice for Air, second for Sayin. If anything, make Sayin beat out Noland and visa versa. Pressure makes diamonds.

I like both QBs but Air actually helped recruit some of the players who are committed to this team. I think he wins out and stays at tOSU throughout his collegiate career. Winning the QB job at tOSU is just another hurdle he'll eventually overcome. Go Bucks!

I honestly think Air is better than Julian......but we will see. It's NEVER a problem to have a bunch of talented QBs. They will all compete and the cream will rise to the top. With the transfer portal system, each will find the level of play and team that fits him. GO BUCKS!!

Whats your reasoning? Most fans like Air better because he has a cool name and was loyal in his recruitment but if were talking talent and potential, Sayin is the better player.

All the more reason for Michigan to want to beat OSU for a 4th time in a row.. Just remember, Oregon, Georgia and Texas are out there, waiting to knock OSU off the top of the rankings.
