I still oaccasionally rewatch an episode for nostalgia. I was 17 when it premiered, but honestly one lf my favourite cartoons of all time. I've even been friends with someone for 3 years now, because of our mutual love for this show.

Dang it’s sad that Ok K.O., along with Rise of the TMNT, and The Owl House had so many episodes and concepts planned but got cut because they were screw over by their respective networks.

theirs something else you missed, in the episode no more pow cards the reason for kappas not being able to be hero's is do to their history of attacking humans which is a reference to the mythological creature called a kappa and in mythology kappas are known for assaulting humans, removing a mythical organ called the shirikodama from the victims anus, drowning people & animals, kidnapping children, and sometimes eating human flesh. hope that made sense sorry it was so long lol peace ✌

It’s so strange that the show had decent momentum right before the finale. Then Everyone just stopped talking about it and no one even made any reviews about the finale even years later. There was probably some copyright strikes going down, but it still feels like people gave up on the show before it ended. Sure the ending itself was rushed I mean there was the whole thing with KO’s mother, being the cause of the moral anxiety that made him go bipolar and create two irreconcilable sub identities, but that wasn’t explored as at all beyond implying she used to be a better mother before Foxy took over Point and sent her on years of missions and overworked her to the point she had to half retire for the sake of her own health leading her to start the dojo in the plaza that began the show. However you never get a sense of what KO was really like as a complete person because there wasn’t any time at the end and you know the whole he murdered everyone on the planet and revived them with a deus ex followed by a 30 year time skip taking up the narrative. But I would’ve at least liked to see some people have a reaction to it.

I first watched this show when it first came out I think I got into it 1: it was funny 2: The feelamarty with the DBZ references because DBZ was my favorite at the time
