Hello , I felt by your open invitation to input at the end to freely assist if I might. At first sense of understanding and reading the verses surrounding this message, I believe that he is saying that his spiritual awareness is facing the implicit meaning of Jesus resurrection. He reminds to whom he writes to reflect on his prior message he brought leading to verse 31. Then in 32 he uses a metaphor when he says if I fought wild beasts with no more than human hopes what would he gain. I think this is encouraging them to accept his spiritual perception of facing death that he is resurrected in spirit. He goes on to say let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die. This could be affirming his desire in Jesus in spirit to commune with them and prepare to gain understanding through his metaphor and teaching and testimony of what the living God Jesus Christ means to him in terms of spiritual resurrection. As 33 and 34 ( I’ll paraphrase my opinion) go on to say let’s learn and not be ignorant of God as he would teach and give testimony and they would stop sinning and begin renewal and gain good mind and he also gives the wisdom of bad company corrupts good character which posits his spiritual brotherhood with them and makes this to me a metaphor of his devotion to bring them the knowledge and also articulates his own spiritual resurrection and the new bond they have in Jesus Christ in “lieu” of the bond he proudly has with them. So In conclusion I think he says they die again and again until they understand the power of the son of god to deliver them from sin again he might be using a passionate allegory to every day as in the observance of the sun rising again and again but the son of god rose from the dead. There is a bit of truth that when it is seen as personal takes on the higher power.
