A little tip for filters. On all my Trucks. When we service them. I take a hammer and a long screwdriver and knock a hole in the bottom of the filter where I want it to drain. It drains the filter and makes it weigh less. Keep in mind. A filter on a Peterbilt holds a gallon.

I'd like to get in Jeff's shop, mix all his tools -- metrics with the SAE --- use his torque wrench for a breaker bar, track in mud, hang up a neon Chevy sign and all the while Jeff has to watch while handcuffed to a Dodge torsion bar! Oh, Oh! Do all the work with an adjustable wrench and Vice Grips!

I remember a friend from high school had a new '72 Charger with a 318 , and he wanted to go fast like the rest of us , so he bought a set of Appliance headers for it . Three days and many choice words later he was back on the road , oh and he had to drop the tie rod too as it went thru the headers ! I think I put the Thorley's on my '64 L79 Malibu in under four hours . Lol.

Im a chevy guy thru and thru but i maintain and work on a two.man race team that my friend has a 2013 challenger with a gen 2 hemi in it. It runs low tens as many times as you want it too. We can turn it up and it will run mid 9's . STOCK. NO TURBOES AMD NO SUPERCHARGERS. N/A . only thing it has on it is a high duration cam and its bored 60 over. It also has a holley injection system on it . Thats it. But it puts 648 hp.to.the flywheel and 515 to the rear wheels with a 410 geared spool. Very nice car and it is worth well over a 100 k.
