I used to think of the Melkonian Institute as my home inside of my home of Cyprus. Nice video.

For your information, Garabed Melkonian was pronounced Grand Benefactor of the Hellenic Community of Cairo organization in 1923. Still in Cairo, Garabed Melkonian donated a large amount of money (5.000 Egyptian pounds) to the organization to help in the gathering of funds to buy land and build the Greek Girls School in Bab el-Louq. The school started operating in 1928-1929. The building still stands today (2022) as the GrEEK Campus.

So nice history they all look like my grandpa, I really enjoyed so much @goddinel
