Every time I mention that I like South Indian (Tamil) or Sri Lankan (Tamil) food, there will be the clueless, especially the Singaporean Chinese, who will quip "Fish Head Curry", "Prata" or "Putu Mayam" and I would have to educate them about South Indian (Tamil) and Sri Lankan (Tamil) food, their differences, the actual names of the food and their origins. Add to that some clueless Indians and Malays as well.
